That would be the same as me having a cable modem and a home network, but only having one computer with a public IP. Why your company has IS and no Firewall is beyond me(a firewall would stop outgoing/incoming request on ports 137-139 at the very least.) Anything less would be called useless, like those personal firewalls.
The keyboard snifters have been around almost as long as keyboards have been. We played with one. Keyboards have microcontrolers like ALL electronic equipment they create 'noise' that can be picked up from a good distance. To the laptop guy laptops are much less shielded then desktops! Nothing would have to be done to the computer! A recorder with a small HD could store hours of key strokes, or you could transmit them to a remote station.
Your monitor refresh IS the highest FPS you can get anyway. Anyone that says they can see the diffrence in anything above that is just yanking your chain.
I would just like to note that the systems you will not see this chip in PC's the Power4 will not even be in server class systems. IBM is going for the top of the line big iron systems and super computers( they still have to make a 100 teraflop system for the US gov.) The lowest area you might see this chip is in the High end of the AS/400(now eServer i) line.
Only SuSE has Linux running on AS/400(theis have some of the strangest hardware you'll ever see) and s/390 at this point. The s/390s' only just went to the RS/6000 they used to have a 31bit(with 44 bit addressing) in house job, I don't belive that the older systems will get a port.
Anything that can be played can be recorded. Anyone with the right hardware (good soundcard right cables) can make a recording so close to the original that no one would ever know. Why do we need to remove the watermarks, just copy the record the song to a format that will ignor them..... MP3
I think it would run better the other way around.

I've delte with Gateway for years, their tech support has gone way down hill.
Yea, just out side Tucson, but dose not use solarcells but mirrors to heat water for a turbine.

It is an SMP system. Look at the readme on the server.
