    But why do they own that land???.....and if they own the land that LA resides on then why not the space above it?

    Somebody will have to own it someday....why not Los Angeles and why not now?

    who decides this stuff??? I think in the past we used to have battles over stuff like this.

    Not wanting to risk patent infringement suits causing me problems, I removed all of my mp3s and re-ripped everything as ogg vorbis files.

    Why??
    It shouldn't matter what format the sound is in. They won't sue you now because you recorded your audio in "ogg vorbis files"???

    You are very incorrect.

    What you're saying is that I should be able to completely clog up the network of my entire city, making it impossible for other resident to access the network? I should be able to do this whenever I want...possibly all the time...and I should pay the same amount of currency as my neighbors (preferably none, huh?) that are being denied access???

    I don't think this model would work well.

    Yeah....but then some other company comes out with a new video card that is much faster than the current nVidia based cards and is the same price or cheaper. And nobody wants to buy poor old nVidia anymore and they go under.

    Have you ever used an Apple??? They suck.

    They crash a lot, and have a poor user interface. Ever see an error message on a Mac? A little bomb icon telling you your computer crashed. That doesn't help me much. Have you ever had to deal with an extension conflict???

    There is a reason Apple has a smaller market share and it is not because they got out marketed in the chip/Mhz departmart.

    My brother and I used to make "forts" out of legos and place them on opposite sides of the room, then we would each take a golf ball and lob it underhand at the other's fort. We did this until all of the little Lego men were knocked over. Then we would rebuild and repeat.

    You would think that with Blizzard's boatloads of cash that if they wanted to get a game out by it's advertised release date that they could just hire on some more programmers and get the job done.

    I agree.....whatever happened to good ol' fashioned web page design. Everything is all sucky now with crap windows (such as Shockwave) popping up all over the place. And intro's.....who designs this stuff??

    I think they said something about a BB. I seem to recall them using the word "daisy". .188 caliber.....if I remember correctly.

    Why should this neat hack be limited to pinball? Companies should consider enabling a hack on other types of machines, such as

    Thermostats/Tempature Devices

    Televisions
    Think of your computer recording programs and changing channels.

    ---- I already have a device that does this....I call it my VCR.
