one of Facebook's motive is to confuse users as much it can with respect to privacy. Timeline is doing that. for e.g., if u enable timeline any person on FB can see where u are born , what u did in which year n all type of activities. It helps advertisers whom FB is selling your information.
When i was learning kernel programming , one of things they often told is that dont fix something until its broken. Never. If they are going to do with TV it will be a disaster. Last they did something like this was for Google Reader. Now almost nobody uses it . it has just become a pet peeve for google+. sorry google fuck you for this.

I dont understand why dont nokia launch in US also? The biggest smartphone market is in US with probably largest no of users. With Europe in deep crisis,i think it will be hard to gain traction in it . Is nokia strategy flawed in ignoring US Holiday season?
I want to know whether this is same source code which was used by samsung+google to built galaxy nexus? or there is difference in the builds? . If its the same source code , then can i recomplile and flash to my phone? If i cannot then how its open source. see, for e.g., Linux kernel is open source.i can always over write my kernel from the distro by downloading the source from kernel.org. can i do the same with android?
What i really want to know is the battery life of Nexus prime? . Though galaxy S2 is awesome , its battery life sucks. There is no point in using a smartphone if it battery cant last a day. Thats why i still like nokia for this. they make best phones with superior battery life.
This is another proof that no Mainstream company can ever ignore linux in the long run. the beauty of linux is such that it scales to sub $100 smartphone and HPC . I bet any OS this planet can do that. sure there are patent problems sorrounding it but thats not going to stop companies from adopting. Nokia should have a plan B if they dont get hit with windows smartphone otherwise they are doomed forever. they know this . thats the reason they are doing this . Nokia backed of Meego and announced symbain wil wont that long but u should have a alternative for tat plan. and this is that alternative . unless MS mole stephen elop tries to do something nasty with windows smartphone i think Nokia wil be a hit with this model. ALL the best Nokia. lets wait for a great sub $100 phone.
If microsoft says that every android device violates their patents then its nothing but just a Extortion racket they are building up by threatening other vendors. Im glad that a company like B & N has balls where as HTC and samsung c not. I'm never buying any windows product ever in my life again. lets start boycotting all MS products. OTOH why Department of Justice/antitrust regularities cannot look into deals like this?

I was pretty frustrated with GNOME3 and just when i thought of giving up and going back to Fedora 14 i found this [1].
I now have a GNOME2 and it works like a charm.

A average linux user who cant track LKML can easily see some of the most informative discussions which cannot be found on facebook or twitter.
