Does the sharp spectrum and blue tinge remind you of some head lights on cars? I was walking home just the other day, and a car's lights at an intersection looked completely different. Is that what you are writing about?
Also, solar panels might allow a person/group to set up an energy source that is far away from the grid. The cost of bringing out batteries, of power cables, or of generators would be too expensive, I assume. Solar energy would have to be cheaper in those situations.
No, that's not true. I try work with all people that I disagree with.
Maybe I misunderstand you. Are you talking about environmentalism? I believe in protecting the environment and all that. I'm only referring to the attitudes that we have, whether or not we are talking about the environment. I wasn't referring to progress at the expense of destroying the environment. I was referring to progress that doesn't have environmental impact.
Have you ever played board games? Every player tries to take down the player in the lead. If that same player is good at different board games, then the attitudes tend to multiply, and the other players tend to fight against that player, almost by reflex.
Don't get me wrong. In board games, it makes sense, because it isn't about progress. It's about winning. In life, it isn't about winning. It's about progress. People can't tell the difference, and they always have to have an enemy.
That makes sense. Off shoring allows us to not pay a minimum wage. I'm not an advocate of the minimum wage, but it's not fair to allow a domestic company to pay people lower wages just because their physical location is somewhere else. I consider it to be anti-competitive.
Now, hold on. People don't switch to the conservative side because they finally grow up. They switch because they can get different kinds of government hand outs and protection. Corporations and small businesses aren't altruistic organizations. It's not as if they won't cheat. If there weren't labour laws, then the businesses would be screwing everybody over.
Somebody should mod you up as funny. You appear to be serious, but I still find it funny. For what it's worth, I do agree with you.
Also, I was in a friend's minivan, and noticed that there were child seats built into the regular seat. I said, "Wow...that's good that they're starting to think about these things.". He said, "This vehicle is 10 years old.". 10 years! 10 years ago, somebody already thought of this, but it isn't well known for some reason. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they haven't built better seats and/or seat belts. Honestly, there is nothing special about child seats.
All seats and seat belts should be safe for most ages, with the option to add child seats for customization, as opposed to only safe for adults. What we have now is absurd.
I replied to the other fellow above, but to save you some clicking, here is a portion relevant to you.
It might be easier to learn certain concepts at a later date, because the student may not be able to apply it till later. I think that a sign of a healthy school system is when teachers/schools are allowed to try new ideas. The truth is that you might have graduated with a better understanding of math than me, because you learned it in the "correct order".

I'm glad that you said that. I was beginning to doubt myself, after I read the responses. What part of Canada were you at during grade 3 and 4? I was in Burnaby, BC.
I think that one of the main reasons large turbines do rotate so slowly is the high tip speed is difficult to deal with - at the speed of sound (340 m/s) shock waves become a problem, and structural problems show up at slower speeds.
I don't understand why shock waves become a problem. Could you clarify?
Why would structural problems show up at lower speeds? I thought that they would show up at higher speeds.
You have very valid points regarding the first 3 episodes. I enjoyed episode 3 quite a lot, actually.
Sometimes you have to tell a bad story to make way for the better story that is coming. If episode 1 was just like the episodes 4-6, then #1 would be boring, because it would just be a repeat of the last 3. We can't live in the past.
The world needs more buzz words, because the world can't comprehend good and evil. I bet that if this were an issue of Nazis, Germans and Jews, then we wouldn't be having this discussion. Companies gave up a fellow's privacy just to have the freedom to operate in India. That's the bottom line.
Maybe the movie industry needs to make a movie about this. I bet that would change Google's attitude really quick.
Hai guys! dont kno if thisll work but its worth a shot!!!

I did disagree with some of what you said, and you do seem a bit rude, but I wish that you wouldn't say sorry. I wish that we wouldn't have to say sorry, every time we wanted to get something off or our chest.
Personal resposibility is a serious issue. So rant away.
Honestly, if anybody wants to give away a laptop, web camera, or digital camera, and lives in the Metro Vancouver area, then give it to me, because I need those things.

I'm interested in finding a text browser. Why do you like W3M?
Are you just joking, or are you serious?
LED lighting is damn damn ugly? Why is that? Is it hard on your eyes or something? Is there glare?

Okay? Are we on the same page?

I think that it is more accurate to say that our wages have gone up, even factoring in inflation, but our spending power has gone down.

The punch card was invented and named after Chuck's preferred method of typing.

I'm from Canada, and we learned fractions in grade 3 or 4, the early 1980s.
I don't understand why shock waves become a problem. Could you clarify?

It takes skill to come up with stuff like that. Good job.

Don't you dare disagree with me on this! ;^P
