    except for Apple ownership. Each person needs to decide if the retail price represents a good value to them personally. If it doesn't, don't buy it. It doesn't matter if it costs Apple 1 cent to manufacture the product. Thus is the nature of freedom. They can ask whatever they want, and you can pay it or not. FYI, the same thing applies to your salary.

    I doubt they would care enough about us to enslave us. Within a short time, they would probably simply disappear, probably into space. Earth is a very corrosive environment for machines. I'd say they'd just leave, after having become bored out of their minds in about 10 seconds.

    Love and compassion are vestiges of our evolutionary past (provided to ensure caring for children). They have no value or meaning to a higher intelligence. In any case, we'll have no idea if they have "compassion", or if they are just pretending to manipulate us.

    Messed up in what way? When earth wasn't "messed up", the human species was a fraction of what it is today. All life strives to maximize it's biological footprint, and we're no different. We're so successful, we need more planets. Presumably a perfectly "unmessed up planet" would be devoid of humans, most notably you.

    "Beautiful" is subjective, survival isn't. Just change what you think "beautiful" is, and the problem goes away. There is plenty of beauty in the universe, just don't obsess on some arbitrary region of the earth.

    I like the "one world government part". Let me guess, it's probably a socialist government too. I thought so. He also presupposes that nukes are the ultimate weapon, which is quaint. They are nothing compared to what's coming. Oh he'll get his "one world government", but many of the citizens will wish there was an alternative to flee to.
