    I think there are 5 rabies survivors in total; first JG, then 2 more using the exact same protocol, and 2 more with a revised protocol (no ribavirin). So 5 survivors out of 36 treated.

    The chance of there being submarine patents covering the XML standard is pretty small. Read up on the history (SGML etc) and you'll understand why.

    The Amiga had the first personal computer operating system to offer pre-emptive multitasking, allowing running programs to utilize the processor as efficiently as possible. I would think that cooperative multitasking would utilize the processor more efficiently, while pre-emptive multitasking gives you robust-ness. -Magnus
