Pay for the car in cash, but give them a new fresh credit card you just got(then call and cancel your credit card. Tell the credit card company you will NO accept or make any more charges on this card). From there take your car to a closed circuit track and go 80, then stop, go 80 then stop. keep doing this... do this b/c it seems to me they are charging you for stop and go speeding. If you drive 110 from GA To Cali they will charge you $150, but if you drive from Florida to South Carolina and stop 20 times while going 110 21 times, your fine will be outrageous.
I was in the boat sailing into PDA land a few weeks ago. I did my research and decided to turn the boat around. Why you ask? Well all PDA's have a problem that I could not live with.
1) For starters I only wanted a color one, so that ruled out about 80% of all PDA's.
2) I really liked the Visor Prism except for the proprietary expansion. We all know what expansion means (higher prices for consumers and lower quality goods).
3) The IPAQ was nice also, but I would never let myself pay for a Microsoft OS. Whether you are gonna use Linux on it or not does not matter. You are still gonna pay for the CE License.
How did I get my boat to turn around so quickly?
Well I went out and got an emulator. I played with each model quite a bit until the newness wore off. Now I see no need to even have one. Saved me 400 buck:). You can download the emulator from Palm, you might have a little more trouble though finding the ROMS, but keep searching. You will find some.
Internic, Register.com and a few other companies are for profit companies ie selling domain names is their business. These types of rulings hurt these companies are flat out wrong. If microsoft does not want a company to have any domain name with the word windows(just an example) in it, then they need to buy EVERY domain name that has that has Windows in it. Same for google.com... for example if google does not want me to buy googl.com then they need to buy it. Anything less than this is hurting domain companies since goog won't buy it and I am not allowed to. Therfore, misspellings are already sold even though no one "really" owns them. The same holds true for words like "windows, java, gm, aol... ect" If you don't like someone using your domain name or something close to it.. THEN BUY IT!
Sure its the best/eastist desktop OS out there now.... and MS Office happens to be the best and most expensive Office suite.. this is the problem, anytime someone or something comes along to give them some competition, they crush it. If you want to know how good competition is for the consumer, refer to the AMD SMP article from yesterday... Look at our wonderful, inexpensive processors(thanks to competition)... What if the only car you could buy was a crappy ole Honda Accord.. sure the honda is not bad, its reliable and somewhat inexpensive.. but its too damn slow. I wanted something faster so I bought a Trans Am.... it might not ne as reliable as that Jap car and its surely more expensive... but damnit it will run circles around an Accord... This is where choice comes into play...
The more choice... the more better!
What I don't like is that fact they are stealing from Register.com, Internic and the like. For instance, say I somehow bought microsoftofficexp.com and ms decided that they wanted the name so they sued me and won.. so I go out and buy microsoftsux.com and I get sued again and lose. So they are basicly saying that microsoft owns all domains with the word microsoft in it without having to pay for it. Domain selling is a for profit business. I think it should be a first come first serve deal. If you want it, you better go buy it.
The way it is now, stockholders and companies are losing money from this flawed scheme.
Break it up... lets make it so everyone has their own personal root server.. oops we already sorta got that (/etc/hosts).:)
The only bad thing about the Ip is that it comes with Win CE.. Sure you can remove it from the flash chip but you are still paying for it.. and who here at/. wants to pay for a MS OS?
I am a huge fan of American sports cars.... as soon as I can get a diesel one that can go from 0-60 in under 6 seconds, I will consider getting one.....

Sorry, type... I have 768.. one 512 and 2 128s.. I only have 3 DIMMS....
and I have not seen the min requirements for XP as I am not too interested in them, but I would guess the ram required is around 40 megs and cpu is about 233.... not sure.... but my point is, it does not matter how fast your computer is... Mozilla, as much as I want it to be good, is just too damn slow.. I can live with a crash here or there.. but damnit I want something fast!
AOL knows their customers pretty well. The average AOL user is stuck with a sub 200 MHZ machine with about 32 megs of ram. Can you imagine running Mozilla on that? I have a 800 with 756 megs of ram and it clunks along when I try to use Mozilla.
Also, AOL knows that their most avid and populous users are not computer literate. They would not want a drastic change in browser or functionality. KISS has made AOL billions and IE as much as I hate to say so is the best browser around.
Do you think the government is 100% racist FREE? What about afirmative action? Isn't that racist? Racial profiling... isn't that racist too? Racism is everywhere dude no matter if you are white or black, or whatever.. you have to live with it.
well looks like we gotta find some legal use for all our DVD drives!
There are no such rights. Due process is to protect citizens from the gov.. not from civil contracts.
The best way he has to fight back is not to go there anymore. I sure as hell won't!
When we go to court to protest the ticket, do you think we could cross examine the GPS device?

good try.. but I work for www.bestdoctors.com.. I have tried to make this point to my boss many times when we have had disputes over domain names.

I would never Bush bash, but being smart and being educated are two completely different things.
HD suposedly coming to the PS2 last summer/fall.. some time around the time Madden 2002 is releases.. I can't wait for that game..
Jeffrey Dahmer was not a mass murder he was a serial killer.. Timothy McVeigh is a mass murder, but NOT a serial killer... YES there is a difference!
Sony never got any extra money from the price gauging... PS2 squaters did!
Heck, with democrats, none of us would even have to work.
