Thats not always true... Right now I have a Duron 750 running at 959..... This is over 100 MHZ faster than any retail Duron available... and I am only using a nice cooling fan that I paid 25 bucks for....
They say it is faster.. the 733 MHZ CPU that is than the PS2 processor... it might run at a higher MHZ.. but that does not mean it has more processing power....... I bought two PS2s on launch night.. sold them both.. now I am looking for one for me... I played one for about 5 days before selling it... Madden 2001 kicked butt.. I believe all races are different and better at some things than others.. i do not consider myself a racist.. but some of my views my be considered such....... However, you make a good point about drive...i graduated with a criminal justice degree from UGA... after that I ended up working in a grocery store for about 6 months making 5.70 an hours.. I finally got a job as a cop.. that did not work out so I went back to school to get another degree.. this one in CS(i actually started programming when I was in the 5th grade).... now I am making good money.....
I have heard some people working in KMART, Kroger ect.. they say they are making 9 bucks an hour and they are happy as can be... I am making more than double the avg American salary.. and its not enough.. I want to go back to school get a MS in business or maybe even a law degree...... I got off track.. but your argument deserves some thought..
I bought a new Trans Am about 4 months ago... its awesome.. but thats off topic.. well I bought it in SC in hopes I would escape GA 7% sales tax with NO ceiling.. in SC there is a 300 buck max.. well a few weeks later I got a bill in the mail telling me I owed GA about 1500 more dollars in taxes.. what a crock.. we are TAXED TO DEATH.... I make good money.. but I only see about half of it... we have sales tax, property tax, luxory tax, income tax, social security tax, gas guzzler tax, gas tax, in vegas they have an airport tax... oh yeh, there is a death tax, capital gains tax... don't forget about tolls... those are taxes too (wasn't the gas tax supposed to pay for all of that???).

I was in a CS class when I was a freshman in HS(88). I was the best with computers in the class.. not saying I was smart or anything cuz the class was full of true computer idiots.
Back then, computers were still running DOS and as I can remember there was no real security on the systems. So, I told the "idiot" of the class to go log in and type "format c:".... well he did and we both get in trouble for it. I had to pay 90 bucks in restitution along with the other buy... I think I was suspended at first, but it was lifted as I can not remember my suspension.
In other words, I got in trouble for basicly sharing information that anyone in the class could readily find in the class text... I did not force the guy to do it as he a senior and much bigger..

Sure it is.. but I would bet that the browser is actually doing a DNS lookup.. so if this is the case, juse find the name its using.. and make an entry in your host file like
127.0.0.1 images.ebay.com
then it will look to your computer to find the ad and fail quickly instead of hanging on your FW.. I have a little MySql DB I use to block all banner and image server I come across. not that I need the bandwidth.. I just don;t like people making money off selling my browsing habits...

I had 2.. yes thats TWO PS2 the night of launch... I waited in line with my girlfriend and I bought both of the ones Walmart gave us..... Now I have zero.. yes thats 0... I sold the last one yesterday to some one in Augusta, GA where I live for 600 bucks. yes thats six hundred dollars... So I made about 450 profit for about 4 hours of non-work.... pretty cool if you ask me.. oh yeh..

Everyone should not be allowed to vote.. If you do not contribute to the system, you should not be allowed to have a say in the system. Ie.. If you don't pay taxes, go home... What does download a song have to do with morality? I do not think downloading a song is stealing (although I do think stealing is immoral).
Stealing is when someone is actually losing something when you take it. For example if you had 5 bucks on the table and I took it, then that would be stealing because you are now missing 5 bucks.
If I download a song I was not going to buy anyways, that is not stealing. The person who "owns" the song is not losing anything. If they had 5 bucks, they still have 5 bucks.

My parents paid for my CJ degree from UGA... and I paid for my second degree from Augusta State University (in GA).... I am 26 now and making darn good money thanks to alot of hard work... but the taxes are killing me.. I also own part of a small company which I work another 20 hours or so a week for at nights writing code... (pixelforst.com... some of our work is at twotoads.com and y2ktested.com)... well all of this extra work is great and all.. I love the extra cash it brings in.. but it sickens me that I am paying even MORE taxes on this money... I work my ASS off and I have to pay for lazy people who can not seem to get or want one job.. and I have basicly two.... Screw this social security crap.. it is TOTAL shit..... 2% return on my money.. I would rather wipe my ass with my money than give it to the gov for that type of return..
