Actually it's quite true, 1 out of a hundred comments might contain anything of value. The only reason to go to DA is for an ego boost, and possibly the community. For real critiques, you have to go elsewhere. Hence my use of photosig, usephoto, and fred miranda forums.

Heh, last time I flew, I looked over what I was allowed to carry in my carry on luggage. They suggested that I not take anything that could be used as a weapon.

Hmm, lets see, pencil/pen to stab, camera to bludgeon, or break the lens to cut, all the possibilities with the two lighters I'm allowed, pretty much everything I was taking with me, had a simple use as a weapon as well.

I hope they don't wise up and require all passengers to travel naked with no luggage. Hmm, second thought..that could be interesting ;)

Hrmph, they check you, but not the guy on the last flight I was on. (about a year ago)

His baggage was an old backpack, and two grocery bags. At the gate, he puts on a robe, wraps leather straps up his arms, and chants from a small book to the window while wearing a helmet.

Lucky for me, the bars were open, so I got drunk, with a nice woman who shared my thoughts on him, before boarding the plane.

What's the problem with that? I work in a butcher shop in a grocery store, and a lot of people will ask us to pick out their meat for them. They'll tell us what they want, we'll walk them out to the case, and pick out the appropriate piece for them. You don't seem to realize that most people don't know what a good piece of meat, or a good fruit/vegetable looks/feels like, and they want their stuff picked out for them.

Not to mention the lack of taste in most canned goods.

Yes, they do improve your health, but not nessisarly help you lose weight. I walk/jog ~5 miles a day, 5 days a week, and lift weights 3-4 days a week for 45-60 min. Even with this, and eating a diet consisting mainly of what are considered healthy foods (fruit, veggies, chicken, whole wheat pasta/bread, etc) I was unable to lose much weight. When I tried the Atkins diet however, the weight flew off, and I kept my muscle.

Just wish I hadn't gone off of it, time to start up again :)

Theirs just one problem with that, because Wal*Mart is so large, when they refuse to carry a product unless it meets their criteria, it severly hurts buisness for that company. Whats that mean? It means before the majority of magazines/etc publish their magazines, they send a preview copy to Wal*Mart to make sure it meets their standards of publication. Basicaly you end up with censorship by market dominance.
