It was cool to hate on vista and windows 8 because they were shit. When Windows 8 came out I planned to make a full move to Linux. I was skeptical about Windows 10, but there are many small features that just work a little better in Windows 10 like the task manager. When my new job gave me a machine with Windows 8 installed the first thing I did was upgrading to 10. I still have a Sony Vaio at home that has to stay on Windows 7 because the internet tells me stuff will break, I notice that I miss Windows 10. Which is funny because I always thought that Windows was pretty shit but I couldn't leave because of the games.
It scares users. When my mom types something in a word document and a start button or something else directs her to the full screen thing she freaks out and thinks she has lost the unsaved document.
The world is fucking turning to shit
The earth don't stand a chance
Hurricane typhoon will destroy the city
We've got to clean up the skies and recycle
We've got to stop the overpopulation
But most important of all
We've got to build a Death Star
Tenacious D predicted this!

Yeah they received more money from licensing Android patents than ever before!
Well my Sony Vaio has an usb compatible thunderbolt port, which only can be used to connect the external video card, and as a regular usb 3.0 port. I think Sony is paying Apple for a license to use the technology. Apple could easily make the thunderbolt port work as an usb port too, but they just don't because they want to sell extra cables.
Most Android phones don't offer as polished or clean an experience as iOS.
It might be a tiny bit more polished/cleaner but 1. who cares if you can get them twice as cheap 2. you can easily customize it to how you like it, any noob can do that and 3. if you remove the crapware from your homescreen you'll never see it again.
PS: Where I live the new iPhone 5 costs €750 and the Galaxy Note II costs €650.
I still have open office installed on some of my machines, why should I move if it still works and still has updates. For most documents that are meant for myself or my friends I actually use Google documents nowadays because it's easier than moving files around.
I use a fake name too, but they know who my friends are, they know what my friends like and they know how I look like if my friends tag me on their pictures. Pretty sure that it's not hard to find my identity online.
Windows 8 catastrophic - Sure.
Games coming to linux - I hope so.
Steam coming to linux - Don't care, i'd rather have the games via the ubuntu store. Steam only has some games you can't buy anywhere else, but for the rest it's just some drm that keeps track of what games you play.

Since women found about 9gag and started to participate in making memes it definitely got worse.
