We are just getting wiser as we age and having a more critical view of things. There was no golden age before, people always have been very stupid in general.
That is already the case in Canada, specifically concerning the "carré rouge" crowd in Quebec but also in a more general way toward the environmentalists in particular.
Well in Switzerland, they round up to the nearest (not only to the seller's advantage) but usually the prices are already rounded. I frequently have an adjustment of the total to the nearest 5 cents increment on my phone bill.
I would suggest cleaning up unneeded data. I know it is not the kind of answer you are looking for but I am sure there are things that you do not really need, maybe duplicates or older version of sets of files. By making a throughout clean-up, you can probably gain many GB, you then might have enough space to swap your files around to be able to reformat your fleaky drive. Yon then have the time to think over to find a more durable solution for when this happens again.
I had two old IDE drives I wanted to retreive data from, one of them had its circutry fried and my friend who helped me with this this found exactly the needed parts to make it work again.
NPD.. You mean the party that we all voted for because we wanted some changes, any changes even if we do not agree with their views, that party that their head died a couple of weeks ago ? Sounds promising...
Wild Rose Party ? Never heard about it... It must be as popular as the green party or the communist party.
Anyways nothing will change in this department until Canada has a real one person = 1 vote system.

And I'm not saying that liberal got more votes than the NPD I said that the NPD will probably not keep their seats at the next elections.
So Alberta means Canada now ? Great. I really hope that Quebec will be independent some day.
