While I agree circumcision is a form a mutilation, comparing it to female circumcision isn't quite right. For the two to be comparable, it would be like removing the glans of the male genitalia, not the foreskin.
As a circumcised male, I have no idea what the major differences are (in feeling) other than the obvious aesthetic differences. Health issues can be summed up quite easily. Don't be a nasty fuck and wash your junk properly and there shouldn't be any health issues. Any extreme situations of true health issues can be found in both camps so ascribing them to one or the other as justification is simply silly.
There's no true justification for circumcision (except in specific cases) other than aesthetics.
Not to nit pick, but a minor can not legally give consent, so a parent's consent is all the legal requirement to cover it. Whether that's a reasonable argument for or against circumcision, I don't know.
Actually they are at low risk for contracting STDs and showing symptoms. Often men don't show obvious symptoms and are still carriers. Your advice to protect yourself is obviously correct.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the "in your face" refers to dental fillings. Any of us that have silver fillings have a fair bit of mercury in our mouths with little or no harm (depending upon whom you believe.) Unless of course you were born in the 80s and your dentist never used amalgam fillings.
It's the obvious objection to this ridiculous case (speaking as a member of the author's guild). Blind people use the text to speech function quite often for books that don't have an audio-book option. It's the easy argument to win this case for the consumer.
How would it be possible to move forward to a future where you also exist? Wouldn't you necessarily be absent from that future by moving out of your current time-path (for lack of a better description of the path your current self is on through time and space)?
I would think it'd be easier to move backwards in time than to move forward... but then how would you return to the correct time if you couldn't then move forward?
Example with Mr. Fusion: We can't do Mr. Fusion because the amount of energy that goes into creating the conditions for fusion outweigh the amount of energy produced.
Isn't that kind of the point of cold fusion? To create a fusion reaction that doesn't require that much energy to contain/start?
Ah, he talked about the possibility of witnessing Jesus' birth. He didn't get into the specifics, just the hypothetical that one could do that if one so desired.
It's not a matter of nice or not nice, whether you're a network "engineer" or a degreed PE. The people who finish last are the people who will accept being put in last place.
Those that can, do. Those that can't but speak up, still do. Those that don't speak up, whether they can or can't do, are the ones who get the shaft.
Toot your own horn when it's necessary but don't overdo it. Toot other people's horns when it's necessary, but don't overdo it. Do your job and make sure at least one skip above you understand that you're a valuable member of the team and you'll be fine in most cases.
The fact is, most people don't want "mini towers" or "tablets". Also, most of their customer base doesn't give a rat's ass about pre-2004 software compatibility. At some point a company has to stop supporting old technology and embrace the new, Apple has done that, with surprisingly good results. They've gained market share, and branched out into new markets that they are dominating.
The customers are happy (primarily) or they wouldn't keep buying Apple products. The notion that people buy Apple only because it's "cool" to do so is complete FUD.
Exactly. That's why I tell them exactly what they want to hear until I get someone that can actually diagnose a problem. If you know Windows reasonably well, and linux (or OS X or anything else) you can generally fake it well enough that they don't know the difference.
When you actually find the issue is on their end by mimicking the expected response, they respond quite quickly.
Of course I've spent many many hours on the phone with Comcast, Verizon, Cox et al. figuring this routine out, but I can finally get through fairly quickly, now that I don't really need to.
The work around is to simply not download all the crapware Verizon tries to foist on you with their "install CD" that is 100% unnecessary.
As for OO, it's no where near a perfect replacement for Word, but it is completely acceptable (and for some people even preferable) and mostly compatible.
I tend to agree most linux users think it's better than it is, but if you honestly can't look through a "start menu" and find "word processor" perhaps going to college, even online, is a bit of a jump as well.

And massage is a valid healing regimen for many injuries. Studies have shown the effective of therapies like massage increasing the rate of healing and improving overall return of full capacity. (e.g. 100% range of motion return instead of 95% for shoulder injury)
So millenia of effective use don't count for anything? I'm not saying all homeopathy is valid and effective, but lumping them all together simply because there's no "data," as you choose to consider it, and calling them a scam isn't any more valid.
We simply don't understand the human body well enough to know why some things work and why others don't. The human psyche plays a significant role that pure science doesn't admit to because it can't be proven in a test scenario. We know the human body gives off energy but people refuse to accept the "auras" are possible or significant for some reason. We know every brain has a distinct pattern with a general consistency to that pattern, but we refuse to believe it's anything more than electrical.
We are too ignorant of the details to say it's all a scam.
Wrong. If a teacher confiscates your (legal-- IE not drugs or weapons) property you ask when and where you can retrieve it. If they don't answer you, then you go to the principal. If the principal doesn't give you a reasonable answer then you go to the police.
Don't go to the police first, they have more important things to worry about.
Verbal threats like that are against the law (at least in the US where this occurred) and written threats are even worse because they can more easily be proven?
All this kind of reaction does is make you look like an ignorant child.
Plenty of people have potential partners tested first. I've had several tested and been asked by several to get tested, even on a first date.
Having adult conversations isn't particularly difficult, despite what the after-school specials want you to believe.

Not to mention the lubricated ones...
The advice still works though.

You can taste with your dick? Mine must be defective then, because I've definitely never tasted anything with it.

Because there are no volcanoes in Hawaii or Washington state or anything...

No carpet though. That just gets in the way.

Maybe as healthy as you can at other fast food joints, but certainly not as healthy as "anywhere".
McDonalds is still processed food ridiculously high in sodium, often fried (obviously not the salads) and overly greasy.
Because most people don't give a shit aobut drag and drop.

That's really only a problem if someone in the office is actually using MSWord. If not, the formatting is mute, even if it's saved as a Word doc.

Yes they do, you just have to know how to ask the question, which many non-tech people simply don't know how to do.

How in the hell did this get modded insightful?
