Are you just an ignorant idiot. Oh, wait, after reading your post again it's obvious you are.

I have been using SpamAssassin for 6 months and I still have 20-30 messages a day get through. There is no amount of filtering in the world that can stop all spam. We need to rethink the who concept of how email works and I think that has been done by TMDA http://www.tmda.net.

This last week alone I got 1349 SPAM messages, SpamAssassin caught about 1000 but only one SPAM got through TMDA. Not to mention there was no legit email lost.

I have now turned off SpamAssassin for good since it is no longer necessary.

  3. It costs nothing on Fighting Telemarketers with Technology · · Score: 1

I pay for no service and I still get no telemarketing calls. I simply installed an answering machine and I do not answer any calls until the answering machine picks it up and they identify themselves. 99 times out of 100 telemarketers just hang up when they hear an answering machine because they know they will not et a callback and if it's your firends or family aall they have to do is leave a long message so that you will have time to pick up the phone. Best of all this systems allows you to not answer the phone when it is somebody you do not want to talk to.
