  1. Panzer Dragoon Saga!! on Creativity, a Problem for the Gaming Industry? · · Score: 0

We need to see a sequel to this! This is, by far, the greatest and most unique RPG ever created. It's such a pity less than 8,000 copies were made - everyone should have experienced this treasure.

  2. Humans do not belong in space...yet on Debunking the Trillion-Dollar Space Myth · · Score: -1, Flamebait

I personally hope that this plan fails...simply for the fact that we need to be using this funding for other things such as Nanotechnology and Genetic Engineering. Once these technologies are mature, they will enable us to do many things that we aren't capable of doing at this point.

Sending people into space now is both utterly stupid, and extremely arrogant. We need to wait until the technology is mature enough to send us where we want to go, safely - and that simply is not the case with our current technology.

Death to the pathetic United States and all of its morons that come up with this shit.

  3. Piracy is a GOOD THING on Meet the DoJ's 'Anti-Piracy' Lawyers · · Score: 0

Piracy is just preparing us all for what is to come in the next decade. Nanotechnology is all but going to destroy the money system, as well as every form of government - making every 'material' thing FREE.

It's going to happen and it can't be stopped. True equality is finally coming...and it's definitely something to rejoice over.

  4. Panzer Dragoon Saga on Game Originality: Any Left? · · Score: 0

Most people probably have not played this game, much less even heard of it...but it has got to be one of the most innovative games of all time. Not only that, it's thr greatest RPG of all time, in my opinion.

It's sad that Sega was the first one to buckle under the strain...yes, their marketing division is a bunch of retards, but their development division is light years ahead of any of the competition.

If Sega were smart, they would release Panzer Dragoon Saga II, Shining Force IV, and Phantasy Star V (not the online ones). That's their best franchises, and they would be really stupid to ignore them.

  5. Re:Being serious for a change... on Siva Vaidhyanathan On Copyrights and Wrongs · · Score: 0

  6. Re:days of youth? on Video Game Music Mixes · · Score: 0

Yep, I agree with you there about the Turbo Duo/PC-Engine tidbit...out of all the systems I own from my youth, it is still hands down the best...mainly because of the music and the anime. How come NEC did it right, while all the others do it so poorly?

  7. Globalism on Defining Globalism · · Score: 0

  8. This is better than Nanotechnology? Umm... on Lucent's New Chip Is Just One Molecule Thick · · Score: 0

First, I would like to point out that Self-Assembly is really cool...BUT, it is nowhere near as cool as making something self-replicate. Once Nanotech comes into the picture, and self-replication is a reality, only then will any of this be 'worthy' news.

Also, the only thing that can be better than Nanotechnology is Picotechnology...and noone has the brain capacity to understand it at this time. Try using better words next time (timothy?) (Lucent?) because you just made yourself look like a fool.

  9. Re:Life on Still More Evidence of Life of Mars · · Score: 1

Yes, they live on the the planet Nibiru (Planet of Crossing) which is, indeed, Planet X. It has an eliptical orbit, and passes between Mars and Jupiter every 3600 years.

Yes, people lie. That's why the world is infested with an evil thing called 'religion'. Zecharia Sitchin, however, literally breaks the 'godspell' and shows PROOF of how and WHY we were created - and also who we were truly created by. We weren't created by no 'God' - we created by an alien race (who look just like us) who posed as gods.

  11. Life on Still More Evidence of Life of Mars · · Score: -1, Troll

Of course there is life on Mars - why the hell do you think the government is so tight lipped about their 2 failed missions to Phobos? Apparently, there is still Anunnaki technology on Mars, and it destroyed both of the satellites that came too close to the planet. Also, for those of you who don't know who the Anunnaki are, they are the 'aliens' who genetically created the human race almost 300,000 years ago by combining their DNA with the Homo Erectus that existed on this planet at the time.

As for the life on Mars, I'm not sure what's there now, but I do know that Mars was a spaceport for the Anunnaki.

For more information on the Anunnaki, please visit Zecharia Sitchin's website at: http://www.sitchin.com and also read his books. You'll then know where mankind's true origins truly came from.

  12. Face it - Disney Sucks! on Miyazaki's Future w/ Disney · · Score: -1, Flamebait

Disney is nothing but bunch of untalented artists (if you want to call them 'artists' in the first place) who like to rip off Japanese Animation because they don't have the brains or the artistic talent that can even compare to the worst Japanese Anime.

These screwballs deserve to be shot; while Japanese Anime deserves to destroy Hollywood and become dominate in this shithole we call the US.

Just wait until Nanotechnology comes into the picture...there won't be ANY intellectual property to whine about. This is definitely a step in the right direction.

Now if someone would come up with a way to get rid of the monetary system, that would be something to really rejoice over.

  15. The Drexlerian Vision of Nanotech is WET Nanotech on The Evolution of Nanomachinery · · Score: 1, Insightful

This article is just plain wrong. The Drexlerian vision is based on Wet Nanotechnology (meaning biology and chemistry). Eric Drexler is very much against the notion of Dry Nanotechnology - in fact, most of his blueprints for 'nanoparts' are based on proteins.

What is it with all these morons at the universities trying so hard to discredit Drexler? Are they jealous that they didn't think of it first? It sounds like it.

  16. Re:Nanotechnology will conquer on The Law And Nanotechnology · · Score: 0, Flamebait

You obviously don't know how the system works too well, do you? If you take all forms of money and barter away, the economy becomes non-existant, and the government has no way to control anyone. Money, like religion, is just another means of seperating and controlling people.

All governments, especially the pathetic United States, will crumble once Nanotechnology comes out of the womb; I guarantee it.

  17. Nanotechnology will conquer on The Law And Nanotechnology · · Score: 2, Interesting

Nanotechnology is going to literally destroy everything that humans have valued for the past 10,000 years, whether it be money, status, or religion; All of these things will literally be destroyed overnight.

I find it ironic that people want to place laws and regulations on this technology, even though there is no way that this technology can be controlled once it unleashed to the world. All forms of government will cease to exist because of (self-replicating) Nanotechnology, and this is due to the fact that all governments exist on the foundation of monetary gain; if this variable is taken away, the bulk sitting on what used to be a solid foundation will come crashing down. Of course, there will always be power hungry individuals out there who will try and rebuild the monetary foundation and all the crap that sat upon it, but they will fail miserabley.

Nanotechnology is the next step in Mankind's evolutionary process...but if people aren't willing to change and stop acting like a bunch of Neandarthals, then they deserve to be destroyed by the gray goo.

Nanotech is BS? Though I will agree that what the US' definition of Nanotechnology is pathetic, the rest of the world, I think, has a better understanding at just how important Nanotech is.

Nanotechnology is going to change everything: It will destroy all governments, the money system, and perhaps maybe even religion (I'm hoping).

You say the public won't be in favor of Nanotech - and my response to that is 'Who Cares?' - the 'public' is nothing more than a bunch of worthless Neanderthals anyway. If war ensues over Nanotech, all someone has to do is sick the 'The Gray Goo' on the 'public' and it's game over from there.

Yeah, I am. I basically already answered that with such a defensive question.

In any case, this world is headed for something beautiful, whether the people with political/military power like it or not - All forms of government will collapse, and the only form of government which will be able to exist in a Nanotech world is true communism (note - Communism has NEVER existed in this world, regardless of what history books say) - if Communism doesn't work, then Anarchy is the only solution. There will no longer be a trade or barter system - the money system will cease to exist. The best thing of all, however, is that the human life span will be increased well beyond several thousands of years, and the ability of reproduction in humans will be shut off completely (the only ones who will be allowed to reproduce are the ones who are smart enough to beat the failsafes programmed into the nanites in their bloodstreams.)

It basically means that money is already worthless...it's just unintelligent people (the 90% of the humans who still have a Neanderthal brain) who haven't figured it out yet.

Nanotechnology is going to completely change the world as we know it; it will destroy ALL governments, the money system, and possibly all forms of religion.

This scenario is alot closer than most people think (Dec 21st, 2012 sounds about right) - until then, it would be a wise idea for people to be educated on the societal implications that Nanotechnology is going to bring to the world, otherwise people are going to have a really tough time making the mandatory transition that will be required to live in a Nanotech world.

Money, as well as ALL Intellectual Property, is destined to become non-existant in the next decade anyway - especially with Nanotechnology on the horizon. They had better learn to just give up this stupid fight, otherwise, the transition they will need to make in the future will be a very difficult one.

Dragon Quest, was a much better rendition of what Ultima should have been, but never was.

By the way, I'm not putting down the 'legends' of the gaming industry by any means...I'm just saying that, as an artist, they need to put a little more effort into their work instead of rushing thing and giving a crappy product to the public and expecting them to pay $50-$60 for utter garbage.

Yes, I have played most of Squaresoft's 'shit' and the only game that had a 'decent' story in it was Xenogears (and it was only cool because Nanotechnology was in the plot). If you are one of those 'idiots' who thinks that the Final Fantasy series contains any substance whatsoever, you're crazy. Final Fantasy has lame stories, it's not epic, and the music gets worse with each new version (you would think that since Squaresoft makes such good graphics, that they would at least make their music stop sounding like midi quality, and make it sound like red book audio or something instead) But do they do this? Nope. It's because there is no talent there in their sound and story development departments.

Sure, Squaresoft makes 'wonderful' graphics and CG - but, as I said before, that's all they are good at, especially since the team who made Xenogears disbanded.

Sega, on the other hand, has one hell of a 1st party development team (Sonic Team, Overworks, and Team Andromeda)...they know how to make graphics, sound, and story and combine them into one brilliant game. Phantasy Star and Panzer Dragoon Saga are perfect examples.

Want to hear what Panzer Dragoon sounds like? Log onto Napster or WinMX and download Track 18 and the ending theme to the game and you will get a small taste at how wonderful this game is.
