Why don't you post the code then dickhead? The algorithm's time complexity is likely exponential, otherwise you'd think someone would come up with a solution vastly better than yours.
'Do it recursively to a certain extent'? Fresh out of a first year data structures course, no doubt. Stop wasting peoples' time with your elementary understanding of anything even remotely beneficial to the human race, you stupid, stupid person.
Ha Ha, Mr: I waste my time trying to boost my self esteem by having others validate that I am as smart as I think I am by attempting to elicit moderation points from complete strangers from my carefully crafted wannabe witty comments. LOSER!!! get a g-friend already lame ass!
ha ha, you thought you get a MOD +1 but you dunt get nun!
to the contrary. one principle of extreme programming is to "write your tests first" with a test suite like jUnit. doing this makes you think hard about the behavior of functions you write.
degrees are for stupid people. i was hired on at my job w/o one while i was an intern. three other interns i work with critisized me for spending less time at school and more time making $$$. now they all graduated, and they are hired on at the same rate as i (one even gets paid less). if we all stay at the job until we retire, i will have made more money than they have in the long run. so you see, i am the smart one!
This is an OUTRAGE! Slashdot you have LOST a reader. I encourage everyone who opposes shady business that subtract from the integrity of the stories to file a complaint in post as I have.

The german government is not cool, and niether is any of their funding efforts. or any efforts for that matter. After all america did for them, they will not support Bush's decision to take out Saddam. They are bastards
I am sick and tired of these fontographers acting like their fonts are precious jewels or something. Charging $100's for high quality fonts. That is ridiculous. I don't care if it takes a long time to make a damn font. There is no reason they should be so expensive and foundries be so jewish with them.
10 fonts. Big deal. that just shows how shitty bitstream is for holding back so much. I am not impressed.
This foon character is a moron. He should of wrote a paper called, "How to speak authoritatively on things you know little about." This is not even a big deal because it requires physical access to a machine. With that level of access, you could kick the machine with a boot or throw a grenade at it. Nothing can be secure that way--even linux. Find some remote security holes that can comprimise "national security" This idiot made a fool of himself
Remember, we have a team of five or six people led by Miguel the hack cracking this thing out, not distinguished engineer James Gosling and a team of hundreds. This thing will be a piece of shit, and I looked at the API Todo list, and they still haven't got shit. About 10% of the classes are complete. It is a waste of everyone's time for them to put this out, they should just stick to customizing desktop systems and writing buggy e-mail clients. This miguel freak doesn't know CRAP! hahah
You know what you stupid/. moderators, I am losing my damned patience with you. Here is a perfectly good comment that deserves at least a 2 or 3, and you didn't mod it up. I am sick of your egotistical, stupid, ridiculous garbage website, and the hacks that run it.
I dont download a lot of MP3s at work, I probably have about 10-15 that I listen to and a bag full of CD's, but I think I should be able to download them whenever I want. IS/IT is becoming a shitty industry to work for. I remember the dot-com days when people played ping pong and shot each other with nerf cannons. While this might be why the dot-com days are gone, it really sucks that things are getting ridiculous--like the Sun Microsystems work place where employees have transient workstations. Now no more MP3's. Fuck the man.

Does an agreed upon standard for something like RPC warrant all of the hype it is getting? I think NOT! Why not invest industry resources on things that matter and are not auxilliary, like web services and RPC. BTW, CORBA is absolutely not Web Services. It is an interoperability standard between binary modules, so I wouldn't think of offering that up as a reply. See... This is exactly the shit I am sick and tired of: Buzzwords misused and abused by people like yourself and people profiting off others stupidity. Web Services is another fucking VA Linux my friend. It is full of shit, and not going anywhere, unless people force it too, which they seem to be doing.
"you would have never thought of doing it if I never told you"... crap I will never think of doing it even though you did tell me. Your post really sucks. You don't know what your talking about.
Web Services is just more hype. It doesn't offer anything new that couldn't be done with rpc. It just wraps method calls in XML and allows you to register your service in an internet phonebook-like registry. It is going nowhere, and so are you if you waste too much of your time trying to find out how to kludge your it infrastructure with this crap
I wonder the comment you made that provoked this response and gave you this idea. dickhead.
