    Why don't you post the code then dickhead? The algorithm's time complexity is likely exponential, otherwise you'd think someone would come up with a solution vastly better than yours.

    to the contrary. one principle of extreme programming is to "write your tests first" with a test suite like jUnit. doing this makes you think hard about the behavior of functions you write.

    degrees are for stupid people. i was hired on at my job w/o one while i was an intern. three other interns i work with critisized me for spending less time at school and more time making $$$. now they all graduated, and they are hired on at the same rate as i (one even gets paid less). if we all stay at the job until we retire, i will have made more money than they have in the long run. so you see, i am the smart one!

    I am sick and tired of these fontographers acting like their fonts are precious jewels or something. Charging $100's for high quality fonts. That is ridiculous. I don't care if it takes a long time to make a damn font. There is no reason they should be so expensive and foundries be so jewish with them.

    I dont download a lot of MP3s at work, I probably have about 10-15 that I listen to and a bag full of CD's, but I think I should be able to download them whenever I want. IS/IT is becoming a shitty industry to work for. I remember the dot-com days when people played ping pong and shot each other with nerf cannons. While this might be why the dot-com days are gone, it really sucks that things are getting ridiculous--like the Sun Microsystems work place where employees have transient workstations. Now no more MP3's. Fuck the man.

    Does an agreed upon standard for something like RPC warrant all of the hype it is getting? I think NOT! Why not invest industry resources on things that matter and are not auxilliary, like web services and RPC. BTW, CORBA is absolutely not Web Services. It is an interoperability standard between binary modules, so I wouldn't think of offering that up as a reply. See... This is exactly the shit I am sick and tired of: Buzzwords misused and abused by people like yourself and people profiting off others stupidity. Web Services is another fucking VA Linux my friend. It is full of shit, and not going anywhere, unless people force it too, which they seem to be doing.

    Web Services is just more hype. It doesn't offer anything new that couldn't be done with rpc. It just wraps method calls in XML and allows you to register your service in an internet phonebook-like registry. It is going nowhere, and so are you if you waste too much of your time trying to find out how to kludge your it infrastructure with this crap
