Rounded cables are no different than flat ones,
at least electrically. What most likely happened
was one or more pins on the IDE bus came into contact with one another and this caused a short.
What did these capacitors look like? I assume they
were polarized. If you have a fine tip, low temperature soldering iron and a steady hand you can replace them for a couple of dollars.
Rick Berman has single-handedly ruined Star Trek.
The reason he did not kill TNG was because the storyline was pretty much already static. DS9
sucked after the first season when he had full creative control. Voyager was 90% Gilligan's Island in Space with the stupidest actors. What
is up with that theme song? Me and my friends
just looked at each other in horror. R.I.P.
Star Trek.
That's not a very good comparison. This company used monpolistic practices that involved people's
lives and the foundation of what makes us human.
This isnt a case about Company X whining about lost profits due to "Free Software." Free software
has it's place, Open source softwre has it's place, and commerical software has it's place.
Throwing everything at any one is ignorant.
I remember back in '96 when this was a new thing..
I couldn't wait. I was sorely disappointed.
1) The navigation SUCKS, at the very least
the software could allow you to modify how you
move in a easy fashion
2) It is slow as hell. It takes forever to load
(compared with html) and has a very low framerate.
3) It is a pain in the ass to produce VRML pages.
There needs to be a new standard. Perhaps a
standard "engine" and standard graphics and maps.
You download specialized graphics and maps
if needed.
Windows? What does this have to do with Windows.
MP3 at least logically represents what the file is. OggVorbis sounds like a kiddie cartoon character and is not quite a weildy are very marketable name. MP3 sounds high-tech to people that don't understand. And like LP,CD, and DVD
it is an acronym that can somewhat relate what the format is. You dont sell products to uptight
self-righteous dorks, you sell them to grandma.
Dont' get me wrong, I love the.ogg format and
have encoded quite a few of my CDs with it. But
I wonder about it's success. Most of the people
(non-techical people, aside from using a web browser and downloading mp3s)I have talked to about it cannot get over the dorky name, "Ogg Vorbis". This is a problem with alot of open-source projects. They may be superior to commercial alternatives but are not geared(or marketed) towards the average joe. I know why the name was chosen. I just think its a stupid name
for a format that is "supposed" to replace MP3.
BellSouth did this recently. As far as I know, it was because their network administrators
couldn't figure out a way to prevent people from
just setting static ip's on their bridged connection. You would order a DSL circuit, pay one month and then cancel service. They just
took your ethernet's MAC out of their system. You
just simply manually set your interface paramaeters, generate some ARP requests and you have free broadband. This was so stupid that I
imagined hundreds of people doing it. Now, PPPoE
is compulsory.
you're going to have a very tough time putting
an EMP device in a battle bot. Superconductor,waveguide,capacitor/voltage multiplier circuit couldn't be squeezed in a
small battlebot.
My friends and I were doing something
similar for potheads all over the world.
Ours was a regular straight-pipe bong
with a red LED and a CdS photo-detector.
This controlled a small air-pump near
the top of the bong. One started, the airpump
would shutoff once the voltage dropped to a sufficient level due to the smoke in the chamber.

I HATE SUV's and their drivers.
They (obviously) accelerate slowly and for some strange reason the drivers are on average are more apt to act like assholes. Upper middle class, lower-
upper class...they all have to have one, you know because the neighbors have one.

Good point...but who cares?
Why dont you post with a account...
I think its because you're a bitch.
wow, youd don't know very much about the law do you? I guess that is why you post anonymously.
Wow, what a fucking idiot.
It was not the operating system, it was
the software OpenLDAP =/= Linux.
Because most software is written for shitty operating systems that you retards can use.
We will see how widely accepted it is. I believe it'll be a flop.

That will get you nothing but a 404 error. Try actually logging out and do it.

Most of my friends don't buy bundled systems. Its cheaper to order parts.
I have not met anyone that has actually bought a copy Windows. (generally advanced users)
Nothing brings out the monkey in humans like popular media.
No. The "robot" is the machine. It does not neccesarily have to be an intelligent "robot"
