    This never worked for me properly. Mostly because running some applications in admin mode uses the config files of the admin, which ignores the customisations of the regular user.

    maybe in your fancy country there in europe and its 100Mbps to the home. But the united states is a 3rd world country when internet bandwidth is concerned.. Most americans are lucky to get 5mbps with low latency.

    5mbps is 3rd world? Then maybe I'm living in 4th (or 5th) world country. (Where 1mbps is 4th world)

    You could be have hybrid netbooks. Turn excess heat into power, and you can do 24 hours with a small-yield new-clear battery (the transparent kind).

    So, you can have a very powerful mobile phone that is backed by a dedicated server. Yep, it will make very small devices with incredible processing power, in a weird way.
