    If it is Ron Paul he will refuse to enforce the REAL ID, and demand Congress repeal it.

    Yes -

    Telcos and cable co's are government granted monopolies. Thus there is very limited competition (if any at all), and ISPs really DON'T operate in the free market unfortunately.

    Because the mainstream has moved so far away from the ideals that this country was founded on, and so far away from the Constitution, and so far away from liberty, that to speak the words the Founding Fathers of the US once did, sounds a bit nuts these days.

    I had my truck broken into a year ago in downtown Nashville. All they stole was my Sat radio ($75) but it cost $200 to replace my window and almost an hour to clean out all the glass in my truck.

    The cops didn't even bother to show up to take a report. They called me over the phone to take the report, gave me a case # and that was it!!!!! Totally pathetic.

    Communism in Russia happened as a result of the IR. This is why the unions played such a critical role in the US to keep us from going Red too. As that shows the free market will seek equilibrium without the help of the government.

    ...a very lassie-faire government. That's right, the time period in which the government was minimal was also the same time in which an economic boom, actually an economic revolution, took place.

    This is why all governments should aim to be as minimalistic as possible. When the free market is allowed to flourish, it can do amazing things to a nation's economy and infrastructure.

    "I want someone who is not controlled by coporations, lobbiests, who will stand up for people and the continuation of the real American ideals that have been lost and infected" 99% of Ron Pauls donations are from individuals. He votes "no" on almost every bill before him in Congress. Lobbyists don't even bother visiting with him because his nickname is "Dr. No". You should do your research on Dr. Ron Paul.

    The reason the phone companies charge for ring tones is because they are copyrighted and the publishing industry (very closely related to the RIAA) are able to charge what they want for the rights to those specific songs.
