Sometimes the presence of others can make one lonelier. I never feel lonely when out camping, kayaking or hiking out by myself for days at a time but can feel a melancholy solitude and feel alone in a crowded city full of strangers..
That is correct it has ended, and you could have more than one if you wanted to pay heavy fines. However, fewer people are taking advantage of the second child now allowed than was expected because society has got used to the one child norm now.
I like her personally, have no clue about her politics because she doesn't really express them often, it would be a mistake to say they are identical to her husband's- spouses rarely agree 100% on politics.
Which is my intro to say: I know the reason my wife doesn't like her is school lunches. It was her initiatives that altered the school lunch program. My kids won't eat them says they are disgusting (she blame's Michelle, I think school lunches have always been disgusting). She says portion sizes are too small for kids now too since Michelle got involved... again, I don't know if that's true or not.
I wonder if the west IS responsible for this, some sort of retaliatory measure, or if this is some internal issue in Russia where the banks are being targeted.
Zucks is crazy if he thinks fake news couldn't have impacted the election.
Maybe it didn't change who got elected, but it probably did affect a handful of voters. There are some stupid people out there, and some intelligent people who get fooled, and some average people out there who might be impressionable.
Nonetheless, I guarantee you some people voted differently based on fake news they read. It might not have been a large %, it might not have impacted any state or federal level elections; however, some small local elections on a knife edge where just a handful of votes make a difference... maybe it did.
Even if someone recognizes a fake news story as fake when they read it, if it is pillorying someone, it might make that person subconsciously think slightly less of that candidate, and less likely to show up to vote. (even if it didn't do enough to make them change who they would vote for).
We're all impacted by what we see, read, and hear. Even if one article doesn't change our mind, reading 20 (some of which might be fake) could. I'm sure both presidential candidates lost votes because of untrue stories.
lol. I picked Kanye instead of, say Beyoncé, or Chaka Khan, because I thought he was more appropriate. I wasn't trying to be insulting.
Everyone loves Chaka Khan and Beyoncé is quite popular with all races too! Most white people I know think Kanye is a joke, I didn't realize black people would be offended to be associated with him too! Perhaps there is a better example I could have used. I fully admit to being completely ignorant of who is popular with whom in pop-culture these days.
I liked that one, and Burritos. White people NEVER eat burritos. Most white people look at a burrito and wonder what it is: is it food, is it a living animal? Why is it on a plate.
White people are going to be astonished to realize the burrito exists.
Jewish people ARE white. You don't see a "Jewish" option for race when filling in a document at the DMV. Most western Jews (and even Jewish people that moved back to the middle east) have much more European DNA than middle eastern DNA after their ancestors lived with (and consequently bred with) Europeans for many centuries.
They're not disabling racial profiling for ads completely; only for housing and financial things. (things where there is more likely nefarious purposes for racial profiling rather than just finding the most appropriate demographic for an ad).
There are probably some cultural things that they see as being more likely relevant to certain races.
Such as: advertising a Kanye West event to white people or Garth Brooks to black people. Sure, some black people like Garth, and some whites like Kanye; but they're probably more likely to reach a receptive audience to those people by advertising to a certain race.
That said, I'd imagine most things they might want to advertise, race would be irrelevant.
Everything about you is their business. It's how they collect their money by selling your data on, or advertising to you based on what they perceive your needs or wants to be.
I was answering jokingly but the point is valid. If you give your real name/address to anyone, even when paying bills, your data is being saved and quite likely shared with data collection services that will sell the data ultimately to companies like Facebook and Google.
I too use false names online. I use ad blocking software. I have multiple e-mail accounts and sign up for different services with different names; however, I am under no illusion that I have much privacy. I'm aware that for all my best efforts, Facebook and google know a crapload about me. Here's a secret, they know all about you too!
In 2016 there were 6 countries represented. (and that's counting England, Scotland and Wales separately instead of under the banner of United Kingdom). There's only 2 countries represented by teams in the world series, but players come from 23 different countries.
I'm actually not disagreeing with the notion that "the world series" is a bit of a laugh as a name, but it is represented by people from a lot of countries, and to be fair, no team from outside North America would be competitive.
(there again there's probably more than 23 countries represented in the Premier League in England and we don't call it the World Premier League... yet).
Another one that amuses me is the Kabaddi World Cup. They actually have a couple dozen countries competing, but considering only two countries in the world actually play the sport seriously (and most of the competitors in foreign teams are ex-pats or children of ex-pats from India) it's a bit of a laugh.
That helps, but Facebook also gets data from partners, some of which you may have accounts with. Facebook probably has more data on any individual in the US readily available than the FBI do.

If there were a doubles day they would make 35.4 billion.
I hope you realize I was being sarcastic.
However:
Hot Pocket is to Burritos what Velveeta is to real cheese.

It went down for about an hour across much of the East coast.

Wouldn't dreidels ALREADY be advertised mainly to white people?

That's a rather touchy response.

It's still Obama's presidency. They've been doing stuff all year.
Does this Amazon like company matter to those in the west?
It's the largest retailer in Asia. It's a global economy, if Asia goes into recession, we go into recession.
Do you give a false name and address when paying the utility bill? Ordering from Amazon?
How does that work? Does someone called Phil McCrackin on 123 Main Street keep wondering how his bills keep getting paid?
Could we have a bad car analogy instead, that might be more understandable.
The margin of error is smaller than the likelihood of actually getting a car to crank on the first try when being pursued by a serial killer.

Yeah, I hated it when they sent the team of commandos to my house to force me to create an account.
They sent people with guns to make you sign up? What part of Texas do you live in?
To be fair, as many people play baseball as snooker and snooker has a world championship too.
That's fantastic they can violate your privacy even faster now.
