  1. Who needs Nintendo? on Net Connected Dream Inducer · · Score: 1

Hey... If this is real, think how cool this could be. You could actually feel like your living out your dreams. This would replace the need for videogames!

  2. Why is this so bad? on Andromeda To Become Less Complex? · · Score: 1

This isn't that outrageous, now is it? I mean, they're trying to attract more viewers and get rid of that stigma that surrounds Star Trek fans. Which Star Trek episode do you prefer -- the one with Picard struggling on whether or not to help those aliens even though it violates the Prime Directive or when they fight Romulans?
And why is Enterprise so bad?

  3. Re:Rosetta Stone on Foreign Language Education Software For Linux? · · Score: 1

Wow! I have never been this impressed with language software. It works 10x better than any other website I have seen. I am thinking of actually buying the Latin and Spanish... They are quite reasonable.

  4. Uhh... That's called an 8MM tape drive on Can You Back Up Data On Audio/Visual Media? · · Score: 1

I have a 8mm SCSI tape drive and can interchange the tapes with my camcorder. Each tape can hold around 14GB after compression. They are no longer in production (as everything has gone to 4mm or less), but you may be able to find them easy in surplus.

  5. Re:VB (no, not *that* VB) on The Ultimate Video Game Library up for Auction · · Score: 1

What's your problem? I love Virtual Boy. I bought mine for next to nothing and have 16 games for less than $80. Maybe it flopped, but it is totally unique. How many games do you have that are truely 3D? The Virtual Boy is truely 3D, and a gem IMHO. VB is a really hot item on eBay when rare stuff gets up, some games are worth over $1,000 and there are another 2 in the $600-$800 range. There is a good cult following behind it...

  6. Re:The BSA? on Can the BSA Investigate Your office for Piracy? · · Score: 1

Are you joking? There is another thread going on, and if your not, the BSA = Business Software Association.

  7. Only if it is given 100% support on Has D.A.R.E Been Effective? · · Score: 1

The only problem with D.A.R.E. is that not all schools have the program. I moved around a lot when I was a kid, and some schools had the program, but others didn't. I think it would be highly effective if higher risk areas were given support, but all schools were given a little of the program.
