Man and I just bought a Jornada. This is imo the most useful type of PDA machine. Notetaking is something for which I am sick of using yellow legal pads -- I need something that combines portability and a legal pad. Rejoice for me!
My professor freshman year was one of the who dove for the Monitor. The entire set of underwater exploration tools are incredibly fascinating. All sorts of stuff messed with their attempts to dive -- like the wind would affect the waves and the current and would push them off course yadda yadda. I still want to be a pirate.
I think that this shows that even posts with a 5 score can result in a lack of reading comprehension.
My utter crap comment was about censorship software and how badly it sucks, and how inhibiting it can be to legitimate research/surfing.
If it displeases the reader, and annoys them, they are less liely to use that site. Users like be more likely to stay at a site and come back to a site if it gives them a good experience. So I have a feeling that the first sites that do this will lose a lot of traffic to their competitors who dont do this and who have less intrusive adverts.
I am excited. It's about time. I don't even bother with normal cd's anymore and I bought of those cheap $100 mp3 cd players for computergeeks. Its excellent.
Trademarks and their vailidity should not be directly related to the size of one's coffers. That's just ass. Isn't there such a thing as "Fair use." How will satire survive?
More importantly you shouldn't. (ok yes if you moved outside this country or pulled an Andrew Carneggie and tried to buy the Phillipines, yeah you could avoid politics, but not as long as you are within this service's borders. Yes the Government is basically a service, and a service that allows you to make however much money you make because it's a particularily good service, and this tangent has become unwieldly).
Did anyone belief that Napster wasn't going to cave in? I mean come on, all they really are is a smaller greedy company. All the executivs that surrounded the kid from NorthEastern are not idealists - they are oppurtunists.
Sega is in debt all over for things that Nintendo ahs tried to avoid like Arcades. Plus their demographic push is in opposition. It was a baloney story from the start.
Allthouh I am doubting they will release on time. How would other people rank the its competition? Where does MySQL fit in. I just want other people's opinions -- I have my own. =)
With millions being thrown around to idiot start-ups with no proven viabable business plan, no proven value added to society, and you guys get all hot bothered when a large company throws half of what they pay a secretary at someone who is talented and deserves more, and you guys get excited?
This is the step that sets the stage for the battle for the next memory standard showdown: DDRAM vs RDRAM. Let the showdown commence, all the the future winner is pretty obvious.
This is a good point -- but it just further shows the attitudes and mores that make Gnutella much much less than it could be.
If everyone shared, the guilt would be similarily small per a person, as it would be spread out over so many. I dont think I explained that well. Oh well back to work.
StarCraft -- best game ever. Everything else is moot.
