"Fit" him into the American school system so that he can held back by silly things like No Child Left Behind. I'm sure a lot of us here had enough trouble dealing with the school systems because of this, I know I literally slept through classes because I was bored and I had already learned the lesson without two extra days of explanation. So, for a prodigy, actually fitting him into the system wouldn't seem very practical. As some others here already said, let him educate himself.
Actually fail them when they fail? Rather than slow a senior English class down to the level of the kid with a third grade reading level, just fail the people that can't keep up. That is motivation in itself. There are no one worries about bad grades or failing anymore because they know that they will be babied through school and not have to lift a finger to get their diploma.
If it weren't for No Child Left Behind then schools wouldn't have as much need to come up with off the wall programs like this.
Microsoft doesn't let you use product codes more than once because they'd lose money if you re-use their product. It's a similar concept, Sony loses money whenever their game is resold. It is a business after all. If you made a product but only a handful of people purchased it and then resold it to others so that they could use it and the chain went on then you would go out of business. Sure, Sony isn't at risk of going out of business any time soon but if they allow themselves to constantly take losses then they will.
Used games aren't much cheaper than new games anyway, so why not just buy the new? I always buy new anyway, because I like to know that it is well taken care of. If they (Gamestop) drop the sale price of used games to be $20 or more lower than new games, then even with paying $10 extra to play online you're still at where used games are now price wise.
I wish I could work at home some days. As long as I keep my servers running as they should (which is almost all the time), then I just deal with petty end-user garbage which I can do remotely. Reports? I can run them from home. "I accidentally deleted my file and need it back." I can do it from home.
I could do most of my job from home and not have to sit in an uncomfortable chair all day to do it. I could also get a lot more done around the house, which would be great. Some days I would only have a couple hours of work, others I might have more than 8 hours. But as it stands now, the administration of my company is old fashioned and doesn't believe in working from home.:-/
I agree. In Fable, I would steal from a shop and then sell it to the shopkeeper because he didn't know that I stole it from him. There is no serial number or means of identification on armor for him to know any differently.
There's also the fact that you could leave a safe distance but be cut off by some jerk right before rush hour traffic decides to come to a halt. It happened to me. I always try to maintain a safe distance but sometimes you don't have much control over it.
Not without putting up a fight. I was simply stating a possibility, not saying that this is going to happen. It was more of a statement about how the RIAA, lawyers, or anyone of the like don't care how many innocent people they plow over to get what they want.
But as long as they get the location it was done and the time, they could possibly use facial recognition software to identify you? So wear a mask?
Though they would have to go after every person on a laptop in the location at that time, but it's hard to tell how far they'll be willing to go to catch just one person. They seem to push and push their limits to make a few extra dollars.
I wouldn't say it's necessarily a bad thing for a teacher to friend a student as a "buddy". It is possible to have a student/teacher friendship and keep things professional. I did it when I was in school. I texted with one teacher that I had but I don't see it as unprofessional or unbecoming a teacher. She was like a mentor to me and she feels that I helped her become the great teacher that she is today and now we are good friends. In fact, if we weren't "friends" then I probably wouldn't be where I am today because that "friend" encouraged me to better myself.
They only really need one panda.
"Instead of harvesting the enzyme-rich poop from bamboo forest floors in the mountains of China, the next step will be to sequence the specific gene(s) responsible for the highly-active enzyme. Once isolated, the gene(s) will be put into a yeast and the yeast culture will produce the enzymes capable of digesting and converting biomass on a commercial scale."
I have Frontier because it is the only ISP available at my house. They can only offer me up to 1Mbps down with a 320kbps up. There is another phone company and cable company in my county (won't go to my house) but there is no fiber to be seen for a long time. It's peaceful living in the middle of nowhere but it pretty much makes it so that I can't enjoy playing any FPS online.
Just to note: Some people may have multiple accounts. I know people with 2+ PSN accounts.
But it is also for two other divisions of their network, not just PSN.

I just don't understand all the fuss.
If I go watch a movie in the theater, then replay it to my friends later from my mind.. Would that be an illegal bootleg?

Their claims of performance enhancements seem promising and I think the Live Storage Migration feature could really come in handy.
Of course I won't jump on board right away, but it's definitely something I'll try to get a hold of to set up in a test environment.

Shouldn't he be fined instead of recognized as an artist?
It didn't crash my Adobe Reader. Also, it doesn't list all of the files. It lists them as groups such as "Video Game Collection."

..this reminds me of nanomachines from Cowboy Bebop: The Movie.

Now it will be much easier to stalk that cute girl... I mean, conveniently end up in the seat next to her.
