Haha way to exemplify the dude's point. "Creationism" and "Climate change" aren't religious or political issues. They're just anti-evidence ignorance. Politics and religion are about ideas and beliefs, creationism and climate change are about nonsense and anger. But avoiding intellectual achievement for a long enough time has ensured our culture is full of people like you who aren't capable of such critical thoughts.

If they could get it working in linux for arm I think people would be more than happy calling that "netflix on linux" because they'd just go buy their rPi's and happy happy joy joy. Furthermore there's a trick with flash to tweak one of the libs in android so it appears as non-android which allows hulu to play as well. These 2 systems for arm worked up for normal linux on ARM would give the rPi and slashdotters everything they want. So I kind of agree that someone should be out there trying to get these binaries out of bluray players to work in open arm systems.

I can't help but think this whole thing sounds eerily reminiscent of Steve Jobs (not in every way but..) in that this guy presided over the release of Windows 7, the best windows we've seen in a long time (I'm withholding judgement on windows 8 unlike many until it's had time in the market to prove one way or another, could be awful iduno), and the personality traits that are attributed to him sound very much in line with Jobs, and now he gets the boot... Will we see him come back in 5 or 10 years just to run MS to a new glory day? Who knows, if so, let's just hope he doesn't DRMurder all the consumers in the future like Jobs did...

Tax credit? I'll have to look into that, though I've read it's unlikely anyone would allow us to adopt based on my wife having a possibly life-shortening disease. To be fair though, "This will be primarily used by those who can not conceive...as those are the people we DON'T want to reproduce" ignores the fact that there is in modern days the ability to actually ensure the kid's don't carry genes you are so concerned about. There's a commonly used technique now where they inseminate an egg and then after only a few cells have developed, they test one cell for the genetic markers of the disease being worried about and only implant in-vitro the eggs which provably were missing the gene. With an artificial womb and this technique people could have their own children without the dangerous gene markers (which grow more submissive per generation anyway).
