I was talking with the sales guy there and saw the hand held device.....it looked strangly WINDOWS. He told me that it was and they took a couple months before they could get the START button removed. Also the windows serial number sticker was removed off the back.
GriffinTech should be paying for this spot because I never heard of this thing and I just plopped down my credit card! $35 + Shipping. It is the coolest thing around. I can't wait to use this....no more wires plugging into a tape deck!
....Boeing is throwing their money away. Unlike the other three forces (weak and strong nuclear, and electromagnetic) Gravity doesn't have a particle. It has no physical or electrical particle that applies a force. So negating gravity isn't possible. All matter exerts gravity as matter of fact. It really is a condition of being matter, hence nothing with matter is immune to gravity. Spend the money on a space elevator or new launch devices!
I wonder if soneone could get sponsorships for naming an element....ill bet Mr Gates would love to see Microsoftium on every periodic chart in every school! What a coup that would be! Especially on periodic charts in Norway!
Why wouldn't an Intel just jump ahead 2 or 3 cycles to give themselves a competitive advantage....not that i doubt you're claim, cause we all know Marketing is really in charge not R&D!
....the minute you buy something the price drops! I have spent a lifetime battling this. AND, if you wait....the technology will change.....arrghghghghg!
....seeing as I haven't seen any comments or opinions about the movie....I loved it. Kate Winslet does a great job as the mousey/nerdy girl and I would kill my whole family to spend one night with Saffron Burrows! While the reviewer is correct that they do speak about how they broke the codes and the lingo is right on.....I still could have used a little more info on that half of the plot....it was more love story than code breaking 75/25 split. Go see it, it's worth your time. (my mom even loved it) .
.....we use a xerox DC265ST. This digital photocopier scans pages at 65 per minute and posts them to an FTP server inhouse. It can scan at 300 or 600 DPI and you can apply OCR after the scans are done. The DC265 is a workhorse and there are about a million of them out there. The scan back feature is a additional price on the device so not everyone spent the money on that feature....but about 1000 Kinko's have these in house and a Kinko's with a good DTP department might actually even know how to use the feature. (Good Luck!) .
my coffee pot knowing when to brew me a cup. Than using bluetooth to warn my computer it had better not crash this morning.....im not in the mood for it!
Here is a frightning little piece. I love hearing heavy industry tell us that we just don't have enough data to support global warming.....what are they waiting for.....their beach houses to be underwater?
What could be illegal about the way I choose to watch television. I am not forced to sigh a EULA to watch "Friends." Networks can place no restrictions on Television they have been beaming into homes for well over 50 year, FREE! They can not now dictate how we choose to watch it. If they are really scared PVR's are going to upset their revenue streams they need to get on board the PVR bandwagon and produce content that works in conjuction with my Tivo. (Product placement and possible web links I could get to through some future Tivo update are a couple I could think of)
for as little uplink time that you require a 100GB of one time pad data should suffice. Especially if you use it for critical commands only. (ie. Shutdown, Re-task, Software/Firmware revisions)
I can't believe all the good words this miniseries is generating. I gave this show 90 minutes last night before I finally turned the channel in disgust. Perhaps for the novice/new Dune fan it may have been entertaning. I found it to be very unsatisfying. After what I consider 2 failed attempts (the movie the other) at trying to recreate this world I've come to the conclusion that Dune is too complicated of a story to translate into a comercial movie/mini-series. The only way to accuratly portray this would be anime. So until then I'll just re-read the book.

There is no hiding from it!
