    One major issue is that UCITA would allow software distributors to reveal the terms of their license agreements after a sale.
    Just reveal the terms of your purchase after the sale as well. . . "And as a purchaser I reserve the right to disassemble everything and bill the seller for any legal bills associated with this disassembly"

    Looking for a copy of DeCSS? The easiest way is to go to Disney's search engine and search for DeCSS. They will then LINK you to thousands of sites, something we're no longer allowed to do. This is still the slickest way possible to link to DeCSS mirrors. I doubled over laughing when I saw 2600 first post this. Ah hipocrasy.

    I take classes at the local college all the time and flex time enables me to work different hours daily and still make it to these. I get my full work week, they benefit from my improved knowledge. Everyone wins.

    The manufacture of vacuum tubes was continued mainly due to the fact that they are harder to disable via electromagnetic pulse weapons. If a nuke went off in the stratosphere, there goes american electronics (guided missiles and the such), but the soviets would be more likely to survive with 100% of previous capabilities

    How many pron webmasters set out to reach kids? None that I know of. What motivation is there? Getting them to pay w/ their parents credit card so the payment can be cancelled when they are found out. Alright! I'm going to push a legally sensitive product on a demography because I can.

    I'm still waiting for a raid unit full of hard drives that develop enough torque to lift the entire unit off of the ground. Just think, density will matter less because none of your storage takes up floorspace!

    Shouldn't VA Beach just have to give them copies of site licenses, reciept, or whatever else. I don't recall the licensing saying anything about you must actually turn on your system. Just "Tell us you own our stuff, and prove it" MS has no right to audit the audit do they?

    Try local reps depending on who they are, they can be 'geek-friendly'. Or visiting profs doing research. There's almost always cool stuff going on at universities that nobody knows about.
