  1. Why is this wrong on Australia Cracks Down on Gambling Online · · Score: 1

Gambling can be illegal in real life, but on the internet and you go nuts?? True it's impossible to enforce, but you couldn't stop gambling for sure before the internet either. Let them try and quit whining.

This is especially bad for us wackos who act extremely different when nobody's around. I'd just die if the FBI had me, a buff dude, singing Judy Garland songs on tape. :)

  6. Solution! on Subtle Change in Patent Case Law · · Score: 1

To get around products that aren't very different, just make a patent broader than the Mississippi. Hey businesses were actually ahead of the curve with that one!

Hooray for a fine company. I have no faith in 3dfx, but quantum has put together some fine machines, which despite the many fans on mine, aren't all that noisy. And I knew that external power supply wasn't necesary.

But only if I was assured a large percentage of my fee went directly towards lobbying congress to pass the earlier metioned bill. Then all those people who don't subscribe could benefit from my support later on. Just like people who watch public tv and don't donate. Oh wait, that's me . . .

The Brazilian electronic music group Golden Shower's recent video, Video Computer System (mirrored here and here) will remind you of all the great games for the Atari 2600 VCS.

I hope this works, my connection sucks, so it took me a half hour to uplaod this. I didn't feel like waiting for a test:

128MB isn't that much anymore, don't most systems come with 96 or 64 if they're cheap. That's just one memory module short. And I know that nobody seriously sells computers with just a 1.5 GB HD anymore. Given the yes, we-are-premium pricing an x86 OSX would use meeting the requirements would be no big deal.

I wonder if the SMS games have been suped up to output true 5.1 sound? Of course with 2-d scrollers and the like it wouldn't do much, but if the sounds were figured, with what the character in the game would hear, instead of what the viewer would hear, that would be trippy and a tad helpful after a while.
