I have been playing Morrowind for quite a while and the AI of the characters is simply breathtaking. I must admit it has been the only game that had me talking to people "And suddenly this big whale like creature jumps out at me so I run as fast as I can to a house and hide inside"... "So I goes outside and the coast looks clear.. the monster is only hiding *behind* the house peaking out and then charges for me"
Morrowind, if you have not played it, you must. But make sure you have a fast processor 1ghz+;)
Vancomycin has *not* ever been used in animal feed is europe or anywhere else for that matter. Why? Currently Vacomycin gram for gram is more expensive than gold!
Would you really want to? I mean, this game is pretty poor if you need to bring it out on the xbox. I mean MS are already annoyed about it being chipped/linux'd. But what do we do? Instead of making ourselves look mature and putting out a decent game, we have to bring out silly games like this that give the whole linux scene some very bad light. Now if the game tuxracer was made to run a decent frame rate on the xbox then great, but this game is just another 'wait until we grow up.. we hate m$... we are leet..'
Stuff like this really shows the immaturity of some of the linux community.
or Better Still.. Instead of go back, at the local internet cafe near me they just ghost the machines with the original setup every night. stick in the cd, bang... it's all done!
You may be interested in bulletproof ftp server, very nice. set up a direct connection to your pc and select the files you want. all you need is your ip and ask your friends to do ftp://your.ip.number.here and off you go. you can add passwords, filter directories etc.
I found it really useful for friends to log in and download what they want off my 1 meg connection.
what we need is an efficient distribution with the following packages that PERE has put. A centralised control panel is just what is needed. Also, the configs to be put in one damn place and not fragmented.
I find on many linux distros there is a lot of overlap with programs, not that this is a bad things but a distro with one office program i.e. openoffice (leave koffice and gnumeric etc out) and make it simple and easy for people.
Not that this will suit everyone but altho linux is gaining popularity, trust me I only been using linux for a few months and I find it very hard, and I am no way like your average joe!
There must be some distro which is heading for this simple one-program per application type, stick it on a cd with lots of nifty backgrounds, supress error messages into more friendly ones.
THEN you have your linux 'introduction' distributio n
I have been using mozilla for quite a while now and unfortunatley I have notieced quite a few sites that are not compatable. One of these is www.faceparty.com. I messaged their technical department to ask why the site were not fully compatable. The problem seemed to be on the 'buddy lists' which update automatically every 15 seconds even when the webpage is static. Apparently only the netscape 4.x series supported the 'ilayer' tag but it has been dropped since.
I know mozilla only runs 'proper' html specification, but it is obviously not all fully supported. See http://developer.netscape.com/docs/manuals/htmlgui d/tags12.htm#1703710
Talking about icq, On my icq UIN I have my email UINNUMBER@mydomain.com, and lo and behold I recieve spam email on my email with that UIN number in front!!

I noticed, especially over the last few days than nearly every story that eugina and the crew post is copied right over to slashdot.

It's not like osnews is just a news site, it does have a forum like slashdot, so why is all the duplication coming.
More Original posts please
