I bet I could simulate on my actual desk using bits of people and a complex arrangement of folded paper for the Start button.... Would probably be more stable.:)
Anyway, since I got my first printer, I've wasted far more paper than I ever did before having one...
yup... I've seen it;-)
It was Mantrid who started it, and IIRC he was part human, part insect, part mechanical himself. (He minds was trasnfered to a machine using an insect organ I think.)
The robot arms eventually turned most of the universe into robot arms...
How do you stop these tiny tiny robot arms? with a giant bug?;)
yeah, I just cracked into it to, you are one sick perverted person!
*resolves 127.0.0.1 to localhost*
*realises what he's done*
errrmmm.... this isn't my computer, I'm.. err... at a friends house.. yeah, that's right, a friend, he name is John. The sheep porn isn't mine, really...
*runs off*
I am studying statistics at college at the mo, and often complain that samples of 50 or so are quite small;-) (well it depends how big the population is)...
Anyway, most of the people I know who use Linux use KDE;-) (I think only 1 uses GNOME, a couple of other WMs instead)
how would they get evicted?
a) send a shuttle each time (very expensive)?
b) have 9 escape pods to send people down in (the winner gets to stay there)?
c) toss 'em out the airlock??:)
I have found that knowing about various exploits has helped me to protect my box against them. By not knowing about them, people will be less prepared...

If black holes don't exist, where does stuff I send to /dev/null go? ;-)
Here's a link to the page about KDE3 in SuSE 8 - for people who can't be bothered to find it themselves :-)
I'm glad SuSE have waited a bit. ;-)3 86/in dex.html

> Spock's pure logic
I agree with that.
> The dilithium crystals
I thought they are used to direct the anti-matter, rather than as a power source themself?
> Warp factor 9:
errrmm... don't forget sub-space. Also warp 9 is NOT nice times the speed of light. The warp factors are an exponential scale.
> No plants on the enterprise:
I can't remember if I've seen any or not to be honest, but can't air be recycled anyway?
> Artificial gravity:
IIRC, there are devices that emit gravitons, which are theoretical conveys of gravitation.
> Beaming down:
People are working on the problem.
Don't you mean: We Worship His Divine Shadow!! ;-)
errmm.. don't forget bank details! and while you're at it, why bother encrypting anything??
So.... when are we gonna start betting on the date it'll finally burn up in the atmosphere? ;-)
yeah, yeah, but can you make a Beowulf cluster out of their computers? ;-)
I thougth absolute zero was -273.15 degrees Celsius (to 2 dp) ?
Why did that post get +2??
If you're gonna say Lexx awful, at least say why you think it's awful. I enjoyed it, it's not for everyone though....

*bangs head on wall* Sorry for that, I just tried freshmeat and gave up, sometimes I forget there are other places to look for linux software :)
Where could I get aviplay? I did a search for it but couldn't find it...

"as they can not read my memories" I bet someone out there is working on that though....
Damn! Now there is even less chance it will "accidently" crash onto Redmond :-(
Anyone wanna bet how long Mir will last now?
