I still program lisp on my HP48 calculator. That thing was (and still is) very cool. Only 128k of memory though, but thats a whole heck of a lot for a little calculator.
I agree that it is the other kids that start the problems most of the time. We can identify the problem all we want, but how easy is it to fix it at the starting point? When was the last time you tried to change the mind of a 10 year old?

now i can dig out that old xl-266 that I haven't had time to mess with, install slack, then forget what i was going to use it for again!
I can't wait for it to be ported to my Timex Datalink. I can see it now: "I just saw a pixel turn on! Should I shoot it, or go see if its a BFG???"
Yeah.. with my luck, I would be one of the last two people alive in the world, with the other one being male too... sigh. :)
Don't forget now, he invented the calculator too!
