Firstly Android while having a Linux kernel does not act like linux, it rose not require a password to install software like you do in Linux this is done by the people implimenting Android because they want it to be easy and in know way intemadating to the users so they make it easy to use at the expense of security. Secondly most of the Android malware are trojan apps that are installed by users trojans are a User security issue not a os security issue. And third Android is based on Java whichever you hear about security problems with all the time. It is a major attack vector for many opperating systems. Also many Android systems are unlatched because updates are left up to the phone companies whichever have little instive update the phones.
I am wasteing my previous mod points but oh well I do not have a in car navagation system or gps or even smart phone with internet, but you say that people do not need gps nav because most people do not go all that many places that they do not the way to all that often. That may be true for you but if for people like me who go trying out new hiking and camping and fishing places way out in the middle of nowhere on back roads a nav system would be a God send. I hate trying to read a map while driving and no reading it before hand is not always enough. If I am driving clear across Washington state to go fishing with freinds just glancing at a map before leaving is not enough. Just because you do not have a use for it does not mean others do not have a use for it.
i make money to pay for my college classes by doing odd jobs yard work in the summer and shoveling snow in the winter etc. how would i get paid without cash or checks? i do not own and no one i know owns a card reader. how do we do minor transactions between individuals with out cash?
Or you could use Microsoft forefront for business computers it is essentially security essentials but gets updates faster. Norton and macrapy are the evil basturd spawn of the devil.

I just listen to the story until i fall asleep and pick up where i fell asleep the next night, i might take some people a while to get used to it but when a audio book is 18 hours long you will probably fall asleep before the book ends and know i can sleep thorough people talking or anything else pretty much. i started doing this when i moved to a house that was near a lumber mill, and two sets of train tracks. the trains would go by 60 a day mostly at night.
because it fits better with the story of Jesus telling the rich young ruler that to have eternal life he needed to to give up all he had to the poor and fallow him, thus it was possible for the rich young ruler to get into heaven it was just hard to do.

1) Install Ubuntu 12.04 (beta, for now)
2) Open terminal
3) sudo apt-get install gnome-panel
4) Log out and back in, selecting GNOME Classic as Desktop Environment
