All i have to say is, if they somehow cut out the whole plotline with the Ents, I will be very upset. That was probably the coolest part of that book, an army of tree like people destroying stuff. I want my Ents!!!
make installkernel reboot I prefer to make installkernel, then dropping to single user mode, then make installworld. Then no rebooting at all is really necessary.
