Sounds like the only common thing between all your points here is... You.
You are what the rest of us call "pompus know it all assholes." You obviously think you know everything better than everyone else, but complain that it's everyone else who doesn't know anything and thinks they do.
sure.. lots of people say they wish all this stuff was still carried.. but.. when you sell fewer units per year than you have number of stores, why would you carry a product?
When I bowed out of that company last year, I had a couple of products that had been sitting in my store for over 4 years at the time. And that's not the parts. Some of the parts had been unsold in that location for over a decade.
Then people wonder why they don't carry so much of them? Because no one WANTED the damn things...
actually, VLB was designed as a higher-speed replacement for ISA, and had a definite speed advantage over the PCI that was just becoming available at the time. PCI ended up surviving a heck of a lot longer, though.
I had a motherboard with 3 VLB slots and 3 standard ISA slots.
i had several times with SA, where I just put the game away for a day or two, and came back to it, because i was having such a hard time with some of the missions.. i didn't feel bad about skipping flight school one bit, i tried it like 6 times a day for a week, and then went and dl'd a save game.. doh.
now that i'm running thru GTA3 (this time I'll finish it.. some day) i kinda wanna go back through vice, too, and see if i can do Vice without cheating.. though i think the endgame in vice would be completely impossible, since i was armed to the freaking teeth and had to type in the health cheat like 98 times..
i still haven't finished the last damn mission on SA, chasing down the firetruck is about impossible:D
got that right. I've played at least one or two that tried to improve, and failed miserably. Maximum Overdose really had a good start to it, and then it slacked off QUICKLY. VERY QUICKLY.
After about 30-45 minutes, I ended up not really even wanting to finish it.
Gun also could've been much better, but I actually finished that on the same day I got it. Note to devs: if a guy can finish your game the same day he gets it, particularly even when taking breaks from it, you've either got (a) a fantastic concept (b) a paid tester.. and you've definitely got (c) way too little content.
I wouldn't mind it if, like they did in GTA3, the people fought for their cars a little bit more. In GTA3, if you ganked a Mafia Sentinel, even before the Mafia hated you, the guy would draw his gun and blast you a couple times before you got out of his range. Sometimes if you didn't get out of there fast enough, the original owner would take it back. And the funniest thing, I was sitting on a timed mission in GTA3, waiting for something or other to happen, and a normal citizen just walked up to my Sentinel, and stole it from me! i was amazed. Never saw any of that in VC or SA, which I played first
well, we had an entire state to cover with SA, and unless they get you an airport where you can just board a plane and be at your destination in a real life minute or so, I don't think I want to play an entire country in this scale:D
in the first few missions on GTA3 and Vice City, you start out doing stupid stuff, too.
I didn't like how SA started out at all, because I'm more into the gangster rather than the gangsta.. but.. once i got through stealing rapper's rhymes for my fly friends, i started to enjoy the game a ton more. Except for flight school. Making the farking flight school mandatory would've had me quitting the game if I hadn't been able to download a saved game after that point. I was able to complete all the flying missions without being able to fly NEARLY as well as I had to just to pass one mission of the school.
In a perfect world, this would be a stupid move, but it's not a perfect world, and WoW is not the place for people to take their homophobic notions. No place is a good place, but when you go out and shout "I'M GAY!!!!" in a world full of homophobes, what do you -expect-?
I liked the mafioso story element. I haven't finished GTA3 yet (I originally got stuck right after opening up Staunton Island, because I couldn't get the hang of the layout), but I did dig that storyline too. I didn't like the gangsta-thug element of SA so much, but I definitely liked the world a lot better.
SA is an awesome game, but I liked VC because it was a lot tighter.
i've been thinking about picking up Mafia, is it that good?
I LOVED vice city, it's my favorite of the GTAs, because of the story. I'm actually working on finishing the first GTA3 now, although i still have the last mission in San Andreas to do as well (man is that a tough ass mission)
I had been expecting the first D&D movie to be FAR worse than it really was. When I said the Sci-Fi channel one was "pretty damn good", that means "at least twice as good as the first one", not "an academy award winning potential".
They really should've cast someone, ANYONE, but Wayans in the first movie. Ugh.
Rumor has it there's a sequel to the first one in development, not sure if it's a story line sequel, or if it'll just be another licensed D&D movie, but i doubt they'll post well known comedians in it's leads.
The second Dungeons and Dragons movie (the one on Sci-Fi back in November, I think) was actually pretty damn good. The first one was bad, but it was mostly the fact that it had two comedians in it instead of decent actors.

Howdy!

actually, radioshack sells more wireless phone units, satellite dishes, and a few other smaller products than all other retailers combined. Period.
And the recurring revenue on a few million wireless phone contracts a year is something you'd be pretty damn appreciative of.
a conductive pen? Over the 15 years I was there, they -never- carried one.
agp is an extension of pci, i don't think you need to bridge them.
AGP cards can be run in PCI mode, which just slows them down.

And Epyx made, absolutely bar-none, the BEST gaming controller ever. XJ500? was that it's model number? Best joystick EVER.
i'm not complaining that it was difficult, i'm complaining that it was -impossible- :P
Everyone I play against on MTA:SA that's any decent at flying, says that the only way you CAN fly is with a controller, instead of keyboard.. *shrug*

I wasn't saying that at all.

hmm. It's been awhile since my first installation of it, but I ran it, hit start, and rebooted a couple times quite some time later.
:D
I guess I missed the "unattended" requirement. But, I think it totally rocks, especially for those who refuse to let Windows phone home
heh, true that.
... silly.
the whole idea of gay parades, and gay days at theme parks, and such, is just
HEY EVERYONE! I'M HETEROSEXUAL!!!!!
google for AutoPatcher.
Aw, heck, I guess I'll google it for you.

i'd be willing to lay money that they had developed it, thought about leaving it in, and then dropped it when someone said "hey, wtf?"..
or it just didn't get finished, like the skateboard ride/weapon.
sure sure, and people shouldn't trash other people for that.
it's wrong that people trash people for being gay.
but it's also not right that a lot of people go out and shout LOOK AT ME I'M GAY!!!!!!!!!! everywhere they go.
(including some people who aren't)

I spent 14 days in a while back, for not having my license on me.
And for that incident, my license was REVOKED.
Only the U.S. has air marshals, and I'm not sure about rules on guns in flights that don't involve the U.S.
The second Dungeons and Dragons movie (the one on Sci-Fi back in November, I think) was actually pretty damn good. The first one was bad, but it was mostly the fact that it had two comedians in it instead of decent actors.
