What's so dumbass about it? Some of the Sun hardware I have in it is actually better supported under Linux, than under Solaris. Besides, I prefer Debian to Solaris.
I've been waiting for the 100K to be collected for a while, so that I could check out Blender on an Ultra-SPARC II workstation I have running Linux, but they only have the binaries for i386, and alpha. I was meaning to donate this weekend to help speed up getting to check it out, and I think I still will, to help them out with the expenses of getting everything settled. Not that anybody really cares what I have to say.:p
I'd hope not, since I prefer Gnome to KDE, mainly because it runs better on my PII-366 laptop, and I don't need all the "flashy" extras. Doing most things from the command line, I don't really care about having a "pretty" desktop.
I don't like monkeys like that. I never even implied that I did. I think that reveals who the reveals who the real pervert is. It's been scientifically proven(tm) that monkeys are funny. If a joke isn't funny add a monkey....story isn't interesting...add a monkey.
I can't remember that last time I saw a widespread AMD only problem
Last widespread AMD only problem I knew of was with Lotus Domino Server. It required a special build to even run on an AMD system. I know that's why some buisnesses don't get the AMD systems, and stick with Intel.

Hey! I like monkeys! There's nothing wrong with monkeys.
The only Sony system that I've seen bundled as a system, and game, is the PS2 and GT3 bundle. I don't remember there being any "bundles" with the PSX.
Somehow it's not supprising that the protection would already have been broken.
