For Windows, it would be nice if they would include something like a non-compiled version of Visual Basic or something, something that would be easy for people who don't have any programming experience to learn.
Most consoles have a mouse. The SNES had one, which came with Mario Paint. The Genesis and Dreamcast also had them. I believe there was a mouse availible for the PSX, and some games on the PS2, such as Half-life, support both a mouse and a keyboard through the USB ports on the front of the system.
It's a hoax. For example, on the "progress" page, there's the obvious joke about the purple stuffed bear where, when they realized that purple can represent homosexuals, they change it to rainbow colors. It mentions a "Fellowship Baptist Convention," which does not exist. Also, if even it you could sue over "religious trademark violations" over the name Baptist, who would own the trademark? The Southern Baptist Convention? The Americian Baptist Convention? The Missouri Baptist Convention? People decended from the family of John the Baptist? This page is so obviously a hoax I'm surprised that so many people fell for it.

Well, you might be able to get the PPV preview channels and a few other in-the-clear Dish Network channels with the Siemens card, since Dish uses DVB.
There *IS* a interface for PSX controllers for the PC. Go to http://www.ziplabel.com/dpadpro/index.html for a Windows driver, and sample source. Linux's joystick driver appears to support it, too.
Sounds sort of like what .museum does. Try this or even this.

Actually, they added the X during development to differentiate the Playstation-X from the failed Nintendo/Sony SNES CD-ROM called Playstation.
