If you can access Google's cloud printing (you can) you're all set. Free... so long as you don't mind sharing your data with Google (which you'd already be doing if you're using their cloud service).
I'm curious to see what better (faster!) ideas appear on this thread... There have to be better ways. Or, at least, more interesting.
Hey mods... Why would you mod my non-trolling question a troll? It's a light-hearted question which has resulted in a light-hearted thread of comments. If I'd said something negative, I could see it, but... seriously; What gives?
Maybe that's where you're losing touch with what is actually happening...
"OWS protests was..."
1) They aren't protests. Ugly, random, and unwieldy as things may seem; It is a movement. 2) Past-tense is too soon; It's far from over. 3) Banana Phone is popular children's song written and performed by the artist Raffi (http://raffi.ytmnd.com/). 4) My Tin foil hat is smaller, paler, and less-often-used than your is. 5) tl;dr/tl;dw
You can't, possibly, be serious. This tact of questioning was moronic when it was a right-wing talking point for media pundits... "The protesters say they want, in part, more and better jobs, more equal distribution of income, bank reform, and a reduction of the influence of corporations on politics" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupy_Wall_Street
What about the common themes (of which we are all painfully aware... "what do they want?" is so disingenuous) is so difficult to digest? Even if you take issue with their methods; the message is clear.
Separately... they don't "claim" to speak for others. They undeniably DO speak for others... such as myself.
YOU are attempting to silence those beliefs, which makes you guilty of attempting to speak for others in the same manner which you condemn. Not-surprisingly; this is hypocritical.
Perhaps they don't speak for you... if such is the case, they are speaking TO you. It is your responsibility to determine whether or not to listen.
You know... I swore I wouldn't do any trolling on this account, but you are too hard to pass on.
"call for government to be given more power in ways that are the same as what those who have profited from the abuse of government power have been proposing."
Citation necessary... or you're an ignorant fucktard! FTW! ~or~ WTF are you talking about?
This isn't a simple 2-sentence-summary argument, friend.
Private property... which is required to be open to the public 24/7. Freedom of speech... an inalienable right without deference toward property ownership. Trespassing... on Publicly accessible property intended for public use. Right to to peaceably assemble... but only in approved places and during approved hours. Freedom of expression... but only within heavily interpreted (enforced) parameters.
Please, learn to think for yourself. Memorization of the words of others is mimicry... behaving as though the words make sense or are your own is ignorance. If ANY of this were as simple and clear-cut as you suggest... we would not be having this exchange.
"The clamp down on the OWS is not a free speech issue."
Actually... it very well may be. There is considerable debate regarding this very notion... Please don't rant and pretend that the speech aspect of this is settled.
That the protestors are breaking existing law is NOT the same argument as whether or not those laws interfere with freedom of speech rights. Those laws are being tested, as is the definition of what is considered to be freedom of speech.
Speaking as an authority on the hypothetical just makes you sound silly... Until this topic hits the Supreme Court, both arguments (laws restricting freedom of speech -leading to a valid protest being re-interpreted or discarded... AS WELL AS... freedom of speech trumping existing laws - leading to those laws being re-interpreted or discarded) have merit.
Sorry that your strong opinion isn't yet based in solid fact... time may prove you to be correct. For now, you're just ranting. =)
Quarterly returns. Bonuses. Spurring investment... Companies which outsource are not interested in delivering quality goods and services. These companies are run by individuals who know that they have a limited window of opportunity to generate as much revenue (or the illusion of) as possible before they move on to their next incentive-oriented opportunity to do the same thing elsewhere.
Companies which engage in outsourcing may have long-term goals, but those in charge tend to make decisions which only impact the short-term. They have no "company" loyalty, because they are not planning to remain with the company... they are planning to generate as much income, for themselves, as possible.
I still like Firefox and trust it more than Chrome... I see them both as flavors of the same candy (mmm delicious anti-IE candy), but after looking through the comments on this thread I definitely can see the hate wo which you refer.
Regarding your ad-block question... I honestly have no idea if it prevents downloads (yet!), but have learned that the HTTP request does still go through. So; there appear to be some disparities which lead me to wonder why it would bear the adblock name.
Thanks for giving me a couple of things to wonder about. I'd just assumed that adblock would be adblock under any iteration... and it's not.
"Beyond that, all this Firefox hate is ridiculous."
Is there hate? I have stopped using Firefox on a few different machines simply because it has experienced problems which were not replicated under Chrome... I'm not specifically avoiding any browser beyond IE, but won't be likely to switch back until Chrome begins to experience problems which are not replicated under Firefox.
So... You're like a truck driver. All 18 wheels... and maybe I'm like a bicycle commuter. All 2 wheels...
I don't even have an interest in a tablet, but I was commenting on the pissy wording of the "hipster freelance writers that have nothing to do with our day" and "sitting in Starbucks taking up space that should be reserved for paying customers," portions of your comment.
Mean spirited words... apparently for no greater purpose than pumping your sense of esteem.
Take what you need. Don't hate what you don't need.
This! I hope this comment gets modded up to 5... way better than the summary!
This isn't a story about Assange... it's about the validity of the process which has been used in efforts to have him extradited. He's just a more polarizing headline, so his involvement will, likely, outweigh coverage of a potentially significant precedent.
The point, I think... is that you can only run programs approved by Apple. Look... I know how to grow an orange. I know how to peel an orange. I know how to juice an orange and contain that juice in a glass.
Here I submit a gallon of Tropicana OJ... It's like having an expensive Orange-juicer, but you can only pour juice approved by Tropicana.
What's the point? Unless you want to deal with an orchard, you really only need the juice.
Your comment sounds bitter, but... you are 100% correct!
Some of us have "real work" to do... And some of us have an inflated sense of worth. If your "real work" consists of posting bitter comments on/., you would be just as well off doing that on an iPad.
1) emailing the vendor... if something goes wrong before this problem is corrected, you are the first suspect, and they already know how to contact you.
2) asking, publicly, if you should "hack" something.
3) asking slashdot instead of 4chan.*
my advice would be to contact the EFF and install a keylogger on your computer.
*humor!
A river crossing is not "caused" by a bridge. A bridge has long been identified as the preferred method of crossing a river, though... Do you need proof of that, too?
Are you concerned that this could lead to some variant of Polio? That was my first thought... The abstract seems to indicate that these antibodies would bear a striking similarity.
Does anyone know if similar studies are being conducted?
If you can access Google's cloud printing (you can) you're all set.

Now they're even down-modding my attempt to clarify that I'm not trolling.
I genuinely don't get it.

I said earlier that, "If ANY of this were as simple and clear-cut as you suggest... we would not be having this exchange."
Well... Your most recent reply has me convinced and I stand corrected! You clearly know what works and what does not. The protests are without merit.
These global protestors are all feebs who should cower in your shadow some more. They are completely pathetic.
"what do you think they are saying?"

What are you talking about? The awful factor of Dell's support is legendary.

Yes there is... https://adblockplus.org/en/chrome
Haha! And it wasn't even your comment, Jedidiah... Sorry for the misattribution!

Thanks for the recommendation... Your post is the first I'm hearing of this "Comodo Dragon." About to try it out! This is sort of exciting? Yes!
