As these people were using an email account supplied by the school district, the simple solution is to automatically make all of the email from each board member public facing. Something similar to google groups email would work. They can discuss things all they want, and it is all in 'public' as it is available right away.
I've been using a Faraday Cage wallet and passport holder by DIFRwear: http://difrwear.com/ for several years now. I don't work for them, but with the very cheap wallet prices and sturdy construction I've been very pleased with the products. I can testify that they do work as I have an RFID key card and it won't activate the door if in the wallet.
If the random number is generated at the time of, or based off of the time when when you press the button for high or low, then it isn't cheating, but could have cheating like results. I'd like to see a better examination: ie on the same rom we tried it 100 different times on each button and lost both, and the odds should be 79% losing: or some such thing.
It'd take someone a freaking long time to filter through all of the places that I view in one day.
Add to this approach a method of collaboration, so that all sites that are approved by the *monitors* would then gain points where sites that are not approved would lose points. Then allow the *monitors* to auto approve anything that is above certain point levels.
This might cut down on the amount of data to crawl through.
Now if I could just find a decent source of audio-porn. You #(*$& visually oriented people...;-)
I'm intending of spending some time this week seeing a movie (at the theatre) blindfolded with that special someone. Makes for a rememberable experience.
Now what would be really cool is if someone wrote a napster fakeout client that would stream the first 10 seconds of the song for real, and then place a repeating wav sound of how bad it is to steal mp3 files for the rest of it. That way you wouldn't actually have to have a ton of bogus files on your drive, but could contribute to the piss-off-pirates campaign.
Open the link a freaking new window. With Netscape on Linux this consists of simply clicking the middle mouse button on the link. (How tough is that). When you're done with the site, close the window. The OS usually refreshes faster than the browser for pages, so when surfing I tend to have 10 or more windows open when surfing. With windoze just right click on the link and select "open in a new window" Pretty simple, and a big time saver.
Whatever camera you buy, get one that uses Compact Flash for storage. Then head over to buy.com or your favorite computer parts store, and purchase yourself an external USB flash card reader. If it's fast enough to stream MP3s off of like my Kingston model is... it's fast enough for everything else.
Now if only Corel would jump into the browser competition like it has the OS, Office, and Drafting worlds, then I would be happy... Do you realize that Corel is aligning themselves to compete / replace microsoft on nearly every front but this one?
I'm not a lawyer but...I know something about patent law. While I may be incorrect, the following is probably true: First off, in order for them to sue they have to file a cease and dissist order, which would be very expensive and difficult to file against every website in the US. (Is 5k really going to cover all of the lawyer expenses in a lawsuit?) Second, I don't remember the term, but there are laws governing the lapse of patents, and special cases. The best way to explain what I am talking about is the example of Scope. Scope (the mouthwash product) took years to develop, and market to the general public. After development the company patented the product, as you can expect. You may ask yourself, "then why are there nock off scope brands?" Because scope can't do a thing about it now. If one of the nock off brands happens to be a Scope distributor (A major supermarket for example) then Scope and it's parent company wouldn't want to sue them. After a period of time Scope legally CANT sue them. So if your website has been around, and you've been using the patent without them complaining... Wait until they file suit. That's what me and my four domain names are doing...
I've used homesite for over a year. Perhaps more than anything else that I like about it is the ability to customize. It even allows the importation of custom buttons, and has internal FTP. The HTML checking is smart, and it's table creation engine rocks. But most of all, it has really cool easter eggs!

They aren't running out because they're NATting like fiends over there. If you don't mind not having a Real IP (tm) it isn't a problem.

Wouldn't it be cool to fly with a bunch of friends with laptops and spend the entire flight fragging? Now that'd be l33t! ;-)

For those of you paying attention to the stock, it lost a bunch today on announcement of the news -- as did several other tech stocks.
