  1. But if this is to ultimately be for ALL people, the money needed to provide it will be staggering... After all, people who still have jobs will still get this money, right? Why bother to work if the deadbeats are still getting a check for doing absolutely nothing...

  2. Where is the money to provide this "Universal Basic Income" going to come from? How will employers that still have a workforce respond in terms of existing wages? How much inflation will this cause? What will happen to home prices/rents/leases/etc costs? Don't seeing it working realistically until human nature changes dramatically...

    You are probably right, I'm just used to dealing with...lesser minds so I tend to read malice/ignorance into things. One of the big disadvantages to internet posts, not body language/facial expressions, etc

    No, they aren't morons, they are EVIL. They KNOW what they are proposing is wrong, but they do it anyway. Greed for money and power drives them, bought and paid for by the 1%. In the 70s,80s, 90s, would anyone have dreamed of the trampling of the Constitution that the government does nowadays, using 9/11 as a huge lever to bring in more trampling of citizens rights under the guise of "security"....

    Set it at one temperature and keep it there. 68 degrees (Fahrenheit for those who are temperature-impaired) Big home with lots of people, always someone home at one time or another. Not my fault you like the temp so high you need to adjust it constantly, seek a doctor's help.

    More likely Google and Apple (and Samsung, etc) dumped money into their congress critters to get this to avoid having to produce different phones/OSs for each state...

    The government doesn't need nor should they have Backdoors and bans on encryption. Citizens have more rights than the government, and they need to learn that, even if it's the hard way

    What kind of phone did the shooter have that the FBI claims they can't crack, I see sales skyrocketing if this is true.

    IT's not Aplle, Google, etc's job to make LE job's easier.

    The customers want security, it's the phone makers job to provide it. Sounds like they are doing a good job

    (Assuming the story is true and this isn't just the increasingly evil government's attempt to destroy the Constitution and rape american citizen's rights...)
