Don't make me laugh, M$. Is this supposed to make the "Chineese Wall" even stronger now? This is probably what MS offered as their "deal" to the Justice Dept., and was refused. Microsoft will never change unless forced (and even then, the fine print of the deal should be heavily scrutinized).
NetWare & Caldera work fine together--that is, with Caldera only. You can do most functions that you can do from a windows box (in NWAdmin), and it can all be done from a command line as well. An NDS server can also be set up under linux as well, but basically (again) from Caldera's distro. only. I guess that's fine since Caldera did most of the work for it and all...

Please note that this does not apply to most state universities in Utah. The SUU library doesn't filter any access to the Internet (but the Univ. administration has been on my back about that lately).
It's funny how the article mentions nothing about the NDS support that 1.3 had. Installing the netware server on anything but 1.3 was a nightmare, but Novell's sp5 broke it anyway, and I and most people I've spoken to have scrapped it. It looks like I'm stuck with netware to run NDS.
