There is one other aspect in this water vapor scenario that you neglected to mention. Water vapor is lighter than air and CO2 is heavier than air. Water-vapor therefore tends to rise to such a level in the atmosphere where it can condense because there are still sufficient particles of dust around which it can condense. If the temperature of the earth as a whole would go to about 85F - 95 F, that condensation level would be above where there is sufficient dust to allow condensation. This means that water vapor could no longer condense and therefore would keep on accumulating above the present atmosphere. That layer of water vapor would then carry the excess heat to its upper layers where it would be radiated into space. Eventually an equilibrium would be established. A significant fraction of the Earth's water would be in and above the atmosphere, exposing most if not all of the continental shelves. The continuation of the Amazon River channel on the South American continental shelf and the very existence of fossil fuels is evidence that such conditions existed once upon the earth. There are other places on earth, where great rivers have carved channels into the continental shelf before plunging into the deep ocean basins beyond.

It is no coincidence that life processes become optimum at just above that temperature around 95 to 105 F as evidenced by the internal temperatures of mammals. Therefore, global warming, if it proceeded to its ultimate limit would be beneficial to most life forms, especially humans. Ocean levels would actually be lower, greatly increasing the usable land resources and reducing the energy requirements of the entire planet's populations. The vast polar regions of the earth would become warm and habitable. Since violent weather such as hurricanes and tornadoes is spawned by temperature differences, those weather phenomena would be eliminated because temperature differences in the lower atmosphere would be small or nonexistent. Global warming, bring it on!

CO2 is definitely a greenhouse gas, but so is water vapor, H2O. Since there is about 100 times as much water vapor in the atmosphere than CO2, it has a much greater effect on temperature, other things being equal. This tremendous effect of water vapor as a greenhouse gas is amply demonstrated to the millions of people on the East Coast and the West Coast of the United States. The CO2 content of the atmosphere in both places is approximately the same. In the last couple weeks, while the East Coast was sweltering with unusually high temperatures, it was also quite toasty here on the West Coast. The daytime peaks were actually about the same. At nighttime, at midnight, where my daughter lives in North Carolina, it was still over 90F, while here it was about 60F or slightly below at midnight our time. I will let you Google the average humidities of the West and East coasts, but I am sure you know there is a great difference.

What conclusions can you draw from that as to the relative importance of water vapor and CO2 as greenhouse gases?

The average temperature of the earth is determined by the difference between how much the sun heats the earth and how much energy is radiated away into space. The whole premise of AGW is that CO2 reduces the amount of heat escaping from the earth, thus raising the average temperature. CO2 is a greenhouse gas, but only comprises about 395 ppm of the atmosphere. Water vapor, H2O is also a greenhouse gas, but it makes up about 40,000 ppm (4%) of the atmosphere (above the oceans). Which of those 2 greenhouse gases do you suppose affects the balance between received energy and radiated energy more? Is it possible, just maybe, in your thinking, that the average temperature of the earth is affected much more by the received solar energy and the much higher concentration of water vapor than so much smaller amount of CO2?

This topic cannot really be studied scientifically, because science is limited to the physical human senses. For those who only believe that what is physical, touchable, viewable etc., this is a great waste of time and money. Whether there is life after death can only be grasped by faith.

Jesus Christ came and made the claim that he is God. The people of his day, especially the religious ones were unbelievably upset by this claim. They were torqued out of shape enough to conspire with the Roman governmental authorities to have Jesus executed. Jesus proved his claim to deity by resurrection from the dead. All religions, but one, are human efforts to reach God. There is only one faith that makes an exception to this. That is the Christian gospel where God becomes a human being in order to make it possible for him to confer eternal life to all humans who are simply willing to believe this. God reaches down to man, rather than man reaching up to God.

Anyone who studies the biblical record of the resurrection appearances of Jesus Christ, will realize that Jesus is a physical being, capable of all the normal physical activities normal humans are able to do. There were however also activities which show that Jesus existed not only on the earthly plane, but also a higher spiritual level or dimension. He was no longer subject to time and space in the same way that we are right now. He could materialize in and out of our time–space dimension, which is a technology that most scientists can't even talk about, because they don't believe in any dimensions beyond our own. When he finally ascended into “heaven”, he did not need a thundering rocket, but was quietly lifted up from the earth and disappeared into a cloud. He promised that everyone who believes and trusts him, will at some point in time inhabit a body just like his resurrection body. This body is no longer subject to entropy or decay or death.

You and mainstream scientists keep talking about gas. The solar corona and atmosphere do not consist of gas as we usually think of it, but of electrically conducting plasmas. Such a plasma is a much better conductor of electricity than any metal. The laws of physics that apply to gas, such as Boyles law and other gas laws to not apply in any way. As the galactic electrical current flows toward the sun and away from it, it first has to flow through the corona, which as you say is much less dense than the solar atmosphere further down. Because the corona is less dense, its plasma particles excited by the electric current can travel much faster. The speed of particles is the very definition of temperature. Most of the heat of the sun is generated by electricity the same way as it is on Earth by lightning or an electric arc welder. No one has ever generated a magnetic field by anything other than moving charge. It is these current impinging on and circulating in the sun that produce the enormous magnetic fields we observe.

Electricity is a force 10^39 times stronger than gravity. The only time gravity controls the motion of heavenly bodies, is when these are, fortunately for us, mostly electrically neutral. Most of the universe however is definitely NOT electrically neutral so that most matter exists not as solid, liquid or gas, but in the form of highly ionized plasma. I am an electrical engineer by profession, not a physicist or cosmologist. I am familiar with the laws of electricity and magnetism. What we observe on the sun and in the universe as a whole operates mostly by these laws because of the overwhelming overpowering strength of the electric interaction against gravity. If the rules of electricity and magnetism are taken into account, such fictitious purely mathematical constructs as dark energy, dark matter and black holes are not needed to explain the motion and behavior of stars and galaxies. Novas and supernovas can be explained in terms the dumping of electrical energy triggered by the interruption of inductive electric circuits. Mainstream scientists, especially cosmologists don't study electrical laws and plasma theories. Most of their models are based on the gravitational interaction which applies only to electrically neutral objects. If you want to know more about the electrical activity in the universe, you can look here:

Weather maps are often depicted with isobar lines, showing the locations of equal pressure in the atmosphere. There are no such lines in the atmosphere of course. Such isobar lines do not break or reconnect, neither do magnetic “lines”. Any explanation that requires the “reconnection” of magnetic fields is bogus.

  23. Re:Electric Sun? on Weak Solar Convection 100 Times Slower Than Predicted · · Score: 1

For centuries, people have assumed that the sun is nothing more than a big campfire in the sky. When scientists learned more about chemistry and the energies involved, they realized that the energy output is far too large to be supported by any chemical process known. Just at the time when that realization hit, humanity discovered atomic energy. So the natural assumption was that the energy source of the sun was the atom. Subsequent observations of the sun, including this latest one contradict the theory that the sun is heated from the inside out. The fact that the corona is much hotter contradicts well-known facts of thermodynamics. Sunspots are dark because they are holes in the solar atmosphere allowing the cooler solar interior to be seen through them. The fusion reaction supposedly happening in the interior of the Sun produces copious amounts of neutrinos. However, the number of neutrinos that should be measured here on earth from the sun are far below what we should see if the fusion model were correct. Although the energy output of the sun in the light and heat spectrum, that we depend on for survival, is remarkably constant, this is not so in other parts of the solar spectrum. During the 11 year cycle of the sun, the output in ultraviolet, x-rays and gamma rays varies widely.

Lines of magnetic fields do not exist anymore in reality than the lines of equal altitude on a map. Therefore the theory of reconnecting lines of magnetic energy is totally bogus. The EU theory has it that the sun and all stars are externally powered by immense galactic electric currents. All observations of the sun fit the theory that the sun is externally powered. I think the electric universe theory deserves a closer look, because it seems to explain solar observations. The EU theory also does not require dark matter, dark energy and black holes and other mathematical constructs which have never been observed in reality.
