EXACTLY! This the theory I have been spreading ever since I was 12! Except that recently I've been thinking that might be dangerous since he could theoretically create a paradox.
This site is EPIC! Love the cursor (D'oh!) The changing page title was a little much, though. It keeps constantly reloading itself. Creepy, it knows I came from Slashdot, it knows I'm using "Windoze", it knows I am in the US, and it knows it's my first time at the site. It also gives me a happy javascript message since I'm using Opera: "WOW - an Opera Web Surfer Please Sing for the Internet!" No welcome message when using Firefox or IE.
I have to wait 7 hours and 47 minutes until I can control the lights though. Try turning on the Hulk before your allowed to... you should get a javascript message:
"Puny Human try to control Hulk
Hulk not controllable
Hulk get mad
Hulk SMASH Puny Human!"
Ditto. In fact, exactly what I was thinking when reading this article. I mean, a comparably priced ($499) tablet (Asus Transformer Prime) is quad-core vs. the iPad's dual-core processor, and a 12 hour battery vs. a 10 hour battery. Thanks to Amazon.com for the technical info. The only reason you would get an iPad is if you have a MacBook ($999) and/or an Apple TV ($99) and you want to synchronize and link stuff to other stuff and have all manner of compatibility with other Apple products. If you have all these, you probably have enough money to buy some pretty expensive stuff, online or otherwise.
"prices that will make an iPad a lot harder to justify." Yes, Apple isn't exactly known for cheap electronics. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is about the same price but it's QUAD-CORE for crying out loud. The iPad is sleek and has a ton of apps plus a decent processor, but it's just too pricey.
I would love a smartphone except for the $50+ monthly cost of service. My solution? Tracfone + Ipod Touch. Then again, I don't use the phone as often as some people probably would. And I don't really care about being different or obsolete at least in the way of cell phones. I mean, why were mobile phones created in the first place? To call people and talk to them.
"There is absolutely no doubt that these trends are attributable to the death throes of Flash and emergence of HTML5 and its open web cohorts." Excuse me, but HTML5 isn't even standard yet.

Santa Claus (the 265th) + TARDIS = presents!

My apologies... http://slashdot.org/journal/275500/lets-settle-our-differences/.
Does Samsung have any adequate reason not to update?
What a shame. Not that I care.
Wow, 81 hours? And more than half of it designing it? And it's not even the whole thing...
That said, he must have way too much time on his hands.

I agree, and the Transformer Prime is QUAD-CORE for crying out loud
