"Crosswalks
A crosswalk is the part of the roadway set aside for pedestrian traffic. Most intersections have a pedestrian crosswalk whether or not lines are painted on the street. Most crosswalks are located at corners, but they can also be located in the middle of the block. Before turning a corner, watch for people about to cross the street. Pedestrians have the right-of-way in marked or unmarked crosswalks.
Crosswalks are often marked with white lines. Yellow crosswalk lines may be painted at school crossings. Most often, crosswalks in residential areas are not marked.
Some crosswalks have flashing lights to warn you that pedestrians may be crossing. Look for pedestrians and be prepared to stop, whether or not the lights are flashing."

I got 2 tickets this way. I turned right at a green light, pedestrians were way over on the other side of the street. I asked the cop that ticketed me about it, as long as there's someone in the crosswalk, it's a ticket.
In Ca, it's a ticket if a car enters a crosswalk while a pedestrian is using it, no matter if they're on the other side of the intersection or not. And the new walk signals have a visor around them so unless you're almost directly in front of it, you can't read it. They also started using audio signals, which beep and talk, for the blind.
You could always install and log onto gnome-flashback (gnome-fallback on pre 14.04) if you want a conventional desktop. Yeah, didn't like Unity either.
I was thinking the same, it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out a banjo has dual harmonic vibrations. Duh, it has a drum and some strings. Maybe he should patent-troll it so he can try and collect for every banjo ever made.
A lottery pick program in Basic for a TRS-80, it had to be under 64k memory. Wrote it in my head, the scary thing is it actually worked good when I typed it in the TRS-80.

If they gave me a $10,000 PC with windows on it, the first thing I'd do is wipe the partition and install KDE. Linux isn't a problem, it's a solution.

China officials once said they're not going to do anything to reduce pollution, and that the west started started it, so it's their problem.
Climate change is not local weather. Got it now? If not climb under the rock where you belong.

This was tried nearby, it was shutdown and dismantled about a year after it opened due to the stench that lingered across town.
So, this means computer generated things can't be patented? IE: Skynet won't be able to patent the terminator.
