  1. That's Chan's style on Review: Rush Hour 2 · · Score: 3, Interesting

Chan and Tucker don't act as well, and the plots and writing are weaker, but they're funnier, and Chan's martial arts tricks, gags and maneuvers are, as always, amazing.

    I live in Hong Kong.

Chan pioneered a new style of martial art movie ever since his first movie in Hong Kong, Drunken Fighter,(Many years ago, you probably haven't seen it) which added comedy elements in martial fighting.

Jacky Chan said in a local radio that he had a hard time working with Hollywood movie makers. He doesn't like they took everything too seriously. For example he proposed to use a silver-dye paper gun for a gun-kicking shot. The Hollywood producers didn't like it, but he argued the kicking scene just took 0.02 sec and nobody would notice.

That's his style, he'd rather put more effort to add more action and fun in action movie, then to spend time to build the plot.

Frankly I don't like watching weak-plot movies but his work is still very entertaining.

Of course not by stupid virus. *wink*

--Any half decent FW comes with its own proprietary TCP/IP stack... Yeah MS might think about changing over to something else.
I don't think Cringely is talking about proprietary network traffics within a private infrastructure, but on the Internet as a whole.

--It is time for "technologists" to cut it out and stop trying to scare the Hell out of everyone with this MS is evil and the internet is falling shit.
Most of the time we bring up the facts and then media in turn scare the shit out of general public, and some half-wit techs. Code Red for instance, would only infect Microsoft IIS servers. CNN replaced 'IIS servers' with 'computers', and some local newspaper replaced 'Microsoft' with 'all'. Life would have been better if they didn't scare my boss off out of these misleading news.

--Bottom line if MS was as bad as WE all think it is it WOULD disappear. Truth is it isn't that horrible. For 90 minutes at a time it's a great gaming platform.
