one day, when the chinese have no outside input, the gov's gonna tell them that we're evil and send them all over in little chamacaze (probably spelled different) and try to kill us all because were not chinese or something..... yah!
That's not too bad. I've just sorta finished a bunch of e-mails to my computer addict uncle about the possabilities something like a 15 second boot on pc's if allthe important stuff could be stored electronicly.
it seems like there have been a few articles in the past about instant boot stuff from flash rom drives. It's totally possable with what we've got going witht he technology we've got going right now with the falling prices and all.
something like the instant on pds's/ce devices would be nice (without the ce or course.)
I was alot like that. i had my first web site up and running on geocities in the 7th grade after finally getting a computer. I've made several attempts at getting linux going on a couple of pc's since I was 14... hehe, I never could get past the whole "make linux connect to the internet" problem though.
I think I'm kind of in a wierd social place... I'm totally antisocial and I've only got my group of friends that I've been hanging out with since jr. high and one nerd guy that I've met since then. I dont' really fit in with the wole nerg group really though...
It's really wierd at my school. We've got like 2500 kids there, and the nerds are actually kind of respected there. At one of the awwards things, one nerd was the only guy to get a standing ovation for the stuff he's done.
Hah, that's nuthin. When one of my friends got zelda for his 64 when it came out, we stayed up like 26 hours straight and beat it the first day he had it.

What about linux though? You don't have to use ms on pc hardware.
