I just don't understand. If you don't like the taste of coffee black or with any combination of existing condiments (sugar, milk, cream, honey, whiskey, etc.), shouldn't you just find something else to drink? Just because it is one of the world's most popular drinks, doesn't mean it has to be your favorite. If you think coffee is too bitter for you, try a different brand, or flavor of coffee, or maybe you are more of a tea afficianato.
Personally, I like my coffee unsweetened, black, strong, and bitter as hell.
I was not refering to the Cowboy Bebop movie. I was talking about this:
"Big O2 as commissioned by Cartoon Network, enabling it to be made despite a lack of demand for the series in Japan. Likewise, although the series creators expressed their desire last year to not make any new Cowboy Bebop animation, the Cartoon Network is apparently pressuring Sunrise Animation to create new Cowboy Bebop episodes specifically for American release."
Sorry I couldn't find the link when I posted before.
I just don't believe it. Until the information comes from a more reliable source, it is probably just someone's wishful thinking. I find it very difficult to believe anything that they tout as 'news'. Didn't AIC report that there would be a sequel to Cowboy Bebop too?
I have done quite a bit of photography with high speed slide film (Fuji Provia 1600 and Fuji Provia 400f shot at various speeds). While I agree that digital still has problems when used in lighting conditions that require these high ASA speeds, those speeds also cause problems with film. As the speed of the film increases, so does the appearace of grain.
"You're joking, right? A company tests a chip at 500MHz and determines that the majority of their products pass. They happen to get a good one that works safely and within temperature and power specs at 650MHz, and you're ready to charge them with fraud? That's insane."
I think you missed the point. There are many chips on the market today that are in fact underclocked by the manufacturers. Quite often a batch of chips is marked at a lower speed than what it was actually capable of by the manufacturers due to consumer demand for that clock speed (due to lower market prices for that clock speed). Instead of lowering the price of a chip due to an overabundance of that speed, the chip manufacturers modify the speed to meet a given price. The flaw in this practice is that chip prices do not accurately reflect the chip supply.
While I can see the benefits of modifying the supply to meet the demand, I think the consumer has not been given enough information to know what he or she can demand. And even with prices for processors as low as they are, I believe prices could be lower (especially for the higher speed chips).
You have to realize that there seems to be two different groups of mp3 collectors. There are people that collect songs, and people that collect albums.
Each of them has a different perspective on what a reasonable size collection is. 6 gigs for the song collector is more than enough. When you are collecting individual songs, you can stick to the hits and can be very efficient about what you have in your collection.
However, for the album collector, the largest hard drives on the market are not big enough. I used to be part of the first group. However, I have started to collect bootlegs and rip the cds that I own just for the convienience of having them just a few clicks away. The amount of hard drive space my collection now requires has become enormous.
Yes! Nausicaa is my all time favorite anime. I originally saw it as the horribly edited (for American kiddie consumption) 'Warriors of the Wind', and later saw the full unbutchered film at Anime Expo. A few years ago I was able to get a pretty good quality fansub of it, and it has become one of my most prized possesions.
Forget Akira... I want Nausicaa on DVD!

What variation of solitare do you want to play today?
ah... yes... You repeat yourself well.
And, you call me the moron?
