To say that superdeterminism is extremely implausible is to understate it. Furthermore as you said if that was so Science would be a pointless endeavor, and therefore by ignoring the possibility we don't really lose anything. We can also ignore the Flying Spaghetti Monster theory with similar results.
The truth is, he was the first to make a fully capable air vessel, which could take off and land, a thing that could be called a plane, unlike anything The Wright Brothers or anyone else did before. He actually invented the plane even though he didn't invent the first airborne heavier than air vessel made by man.
However weird the current accepted model is, and incompatible to what you want to believe in, if you really want to pursue science as a career or even as a hobby you need to understand that wanting things to be some way or feeling they should be some way are both hindrances to any scientist.
Science is the search for truth through logic and experiment, it accomplishes its goal mostly by ruling out the inconsistencies. Nobody can claim that the current statistical model is 100% correct, but what can be claimed with certainty is that a deterministic universe, reassuring as the idea may be, has been ruled out.
The electric motor has far more torque far more reliability against variable effort, more stability and acceleration times competitive with the best Sedans. Sure the Mercedes-Benz C63 AM has a 4.2 s acceleration time, but even the most expensive cars from Mercedez do not go bellow 3.5, and many models more expensive than the Model S have acceleration times in the 5 to 6 s area. It is a performance car, despite your unwillingness to admit it.
They are already locking their platforms, as I explained. The fact that you choose to refuse to see it it is your problem, not mine. Ignorance is an opt in, my friend. Suit yourself.
They have been pushing slowly in the same way they always do. First by giving you a choice of opting for their control, as it is now, then making it mandatory.
OS X isn't just like iOS yet for a single motive: Apple does not have a strong hold over the desktop market. If this happens we will see the same policies they have applied to iOS applied to OS X, that if they don't decide to merge both platforms.
Nah. Maybe since iOS came in 2007, if you really want to stretch it, and since then Apple has been pushing slowly but steadily in this direction with OS X.
And although Linux desktop is still not a worry for MS, Linux has reached the end user market very well through Android mobile devices, and dominated the server market.
For the same motive people use services like iTunes and Netflix. I recon that anonymous access adult entertainment is desirable due to the stigma associated to this kind of media, but many people don't worry about it or don't realize that their credit card data may cause them trouble,
The name of the book and its accuracy is irrelevant to our argument in hand. The original claim in this thread was:
There is no person alive who doesn't commit a crime deserving of jail every week in the course of his/her everyday activities..
Considering how trivial it is to convict someone for trivial crimes (as we both seem to agree) it doesn't really matter if you commit in average three felonies a day, one felony a week, or even one a year, you will end in jail as long as a prosecutor wants you there. even if the exact figure the original poster claims can be challenged the idea remains the same.
I don't need to find the specific case that applies to you to show how easy is to indict and convict someone for trivial stuff in US. The book does this very well, by the way. Even the cases in the site already do, to tell the truth. Now if you are really interested in seeing how you could be arbitrarily screwed by a prosecutor chances are there is at least a case or two in the book that would apply to you, and in the odd possibility that there is not you only need to read the Federal Law code and you will find it.
But by all means if you find reassuring to remain ignorant and deny reality, do it as much as you see fit. It is well within your right.
Legally you can jailbreak iPhones (at least for now) as it was made an exception for it, but there is no exception for iPads, for example, and jailbreaking it is and always illegal, because of DCMA.
And Safari is still exploitable as is OS X and iOS. You basically forfeited your control over your system and gave a third party the power to choose for you for an illusion of safety. Congratulations.
Even if they do pay a lot for it, they will still end with a system that can and will be eventually exploited. The amount of effort it will take will be greater, most likely, but it does not grow as fast as the money you have to pour into the system.

That does not make the negligence of the first doctor any better. In doubt he should have asked another x-ray or other exams.
Then you are more ignorant than I thought.
Sure there is you just need to enable it. Which is only an option. For now...

Oh and if you refer to the OS X only Safari 6 that had a prize in this event, nobody even tried to hack it in this convention...

Just for your education. This is the last Safari release known vulnerabilities list:

Most parents don't have the ability to restrict what their children see on the internet.
Nobody has this ability. If not the parents much less the government,
The profit margins in the adult entertainment industry are (legitimately) slim due to (actual) rampant piracy
On the contraire. The adult entertainment industry profits are going very very well, despite any influence piracy may have.

And if it doesn't work you can rest assured that the next one will be about child porn.
Slashdot and all other tech sites are full of Safari exploit cases, my friend, including those that are used to jailbreak iOS devices.
For OS X it still is customizable. It won't be for long, though. For iOS it is not and never was.
How it feels to be stupid, sheeple?
