With a book or movie, you can use a bookmark or stop button, and resume without trouble.
With a game, you have to hope you can reach the next save point before you have to go do something else, and if you don't, you're stuck trudging through an area you've already completed.

Rather than sue the companies, they should encourage the companies to educate people on proper parenting, and help sponsor day cares around the world.
It would cost the same, and actualy work towards fixing the problem, it's a win-win situation.
