I just received a phone line from SBC for $5.20/month. Now this is before taxes and fees, and has no long distance, and a limit on 60 local calls per month. But because I only ordered it so I could get DSL from another provider, that's alright with me.

Basic phone service for $40/month? Sounds like you're getting ripped off and/or exaggerating.

The Treo 600 keyboard is fine for me. I've banged out quick emails and instant messages just fine with it.

Analog backup seems a reasonable request. Not something I care about, but it's reasonable.

I don't understand your beef with SD. Even 1 gig SD cards have fallen in price, which is plenty of storage.

The camera is shit, yes. This is being upgraded in the 650. It's probably still not going to be great, but it'll be suitable for quicky pictures in the situations you don't have a real camera handy.

I am all over the 650 once it comes out. The screen and lack of bluetooth are my main problems with the 600.
