    FYI. HD platters aren't on air bearings. They (normally) have an offset pair to counter act overturning generated by angular momentum. Sounds like your brain could use an upgrade.

    Low RCS yeah right. This thing is about as stealthy as a fishing boat. Luckily the con ops aren't going for hitech, just high speed cleanup. Also don't trust anyone who tries to sell you on "same type of design and material as the stealth fighter.".

    Riiight... Ever heard of RTlinux? RTAI maybe ? OSADL? You already find it in a lot of cool life/time critical systems already... esp in the defense world.

    I was in the same boat on my last rig (10yrs ago). I went all in on ati/amd merger during the bulldozer hype but luckily the driver support still has me smiling like a fan-boy.
