Including cameo appearances by Peter Jackson and Ian McKellen (~13:00)...
Seems to be quite a family affair too - Sean Pertwee in the opening scene, Michael Troughton as one of the Dalek operators, Peter Davison's daughter (and son-in-law) and Colin Baker's family.
Another poorly-thought out Slashdot story title

Happy 50th Doctor Who
50th what? When you're discussing a show where one of the main features is the regular re-casting of the lead actor, and said actors are referred to by their ordinal numbers... just sayin'.
Dr. Who, Star [Wars|Gate|Dreck]. Too retro. I'm old enough to remember when they all started. They had their day. They need to disappear into history.
You know, you can just stop watching something if you don't like it.
Are we going to have to put up with that whole series as movies?
Unless you're going to be dragged into the cinema against your will and clamped into the chair with your eyelids propped up a la Clockwork Orange, no, you're not going to have to put up with it.

Your opinion doesn't trump everyone else's. Sorry.
Only one I've found since blocking third-party cookies (though I may not have connected other issues to it). Google need to take a lot of the blame for not making it fail gracefully. You'd click to comment, it'd ask you to update to Google+ or something, and then the next box would just stay blank.
So I don't see how even any special equipment in planes can work with such low signal levels.
The article seems to suggest communication will be through a third party, not direct to cell towers (and not to cell towers at all, if you're calling a fixed line).
It's all simulations!
Little early to be getting metaphysical.

That always sounds like a sexual fetish to me.
How utterly useless.
It's better than any bipedal robot you've ever developed.

A reply in lieu of mod points. Peter Davison has proved himself to be a comedy genius.
The Day of the Doctor.

Yeeeaaah no.
Holy crap, I wasn't expecting the Curator!
I knew something was up, but... well, spoilers, but: blub.
If you go around calling it "Dr Who" and not capitalising "Doctor," you may find your ideas getting short shrift ;)

See if you can find the book "Who Killed Kennedy" for the truth. About a lot of things.
You'll note there's no question mark in the title...

Which makes it a problem with cookies.
You're my wife now, Dave.
Have you installed TOR on a winders box recently?
You don't even have to install it (for web browsing at least).

Dave's not here man.
Yet another language I, whose opinion can be safely extrapolated to the entire of humanity, don't need...
FTFY.
What makes you so sure that "time" is the same on Mars as it is on Earth?
What makes you think they might not be?
Actually it probably goes from plane to third party to cell tower - that would be simpler than the third-party handling the call.
they can't charge you for an incoming call.
Oh ya think?
Mars Rock Older Than Thought
That's nothing. I've got underpants that are older than time.

there was absolutely no noise at all.
Then your mic is broken. Duh.
Grrr.. yep; one bit would only cover cases like 0.789789789...
With only one bit, how would you know it's not 0.78907890... or 0.7890078900...?
